LOVE Your Park Tree Request Form
Fall 2016
 Tree Request Forms must be submitted by Friday, September 30, 2016. See
end of form for email and mailing addresses.
 You still need to register for LOVE Your Park. Filling out this form does NOT
register your group for LOVE Your Park. Please register online at
loveyourpark.org or use the paper form from Sept 1 – Sept 30.
 Registered Park Friends Groups should use this form to request trees for the
LOVE Your Park Fall Service Day on Saturday, November 12, 2016.
 This form is for internal park trees only. Please contact the Parks & Rec
Street Tree Office at (215) 685-4362 or [email protected] to request
street/sidewalk trees for the perimeter of your park.
 We cannot guarantee that you will receive trees. Our funding is limited this
year. If we can’t fulfill your request this year, please try again next year!
 Only certain species will be available. Species availability is limited by nursery
stock and price, as well as those best adapted to our environment.
 Trees will be large and heavy. Trees will be #10 containers, will weigh ~50100 pounds each, and will be 6-10 feet tall. Please plan ahead to have
sufficient transportation and volunteers to transport and plant your trees.
 Your group should plan to maintain the trees you plant. We will provide
mulch and bark protectors along with your trees, but please consider longterm maintenance. How will the trees be watered? Mulched yearly?
 Questions? Contact Lindsey at (215) 607-3489 or [email protected].
