Job Description Job Title: Clinical Trainer (Northern Territory) & (Southern Territory) Reporting to: Training and Development Manager Location: Based in one of our Local Branches Hours of Work: Monday – Friday, 9-5.30pm (37.5 hours per week) Salary: £26 - £30K per annum depending on experience Purpose of role: To raise the competency levels of our Homecare and Nurse population within your area by delivering excellence in training and promoting our course offerings. To ensure training credits are utilised effectively by offering our colleagues a range of courses so they can surpass our future requirements. Responsible for all aspects of the training cycle within your area and provide statistical reports. To provide effective training courses from our portfolio, provided by the central training team, to our branch network and clients. Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standard, which is organised to meet the branch’s needs, evaluated and compliant to meet the changing needs of the business, our Mission and our Values. That consideration to cost has been factored in when organising training events in your area. That you manage and organise your time effectively to support BCM’s and Regional requests. The role will require some overnight stays away from home, and therefore, flexibility and commitment to delivering the right training is expected to assist in the continuing expansion of the business and increase in our portfolio of course offerings. Therefore you need to be happy to drive 30,000 miles a year and be away 2-3 nights a week. Monitor and record all training requests and provide the central training team with monthly reports and weekly summary of training plans. Liaise with branches to ensure all applicants passed the interview stage have a current M&H certificate. Monitor active staff mandatory training requirements for M&H and BLS. Ensure all branches have at least 3 months advanced bookings for M&H and BLS courses. Ensure training credits system is effectively administered by branches. Monitor training course attendance level and ensure training costs are covered. Keep records of all learning events and provide accurate management information as required. Evaluate all learning events immediately and subsequently. Highlight all positive and negative feedback to the central. Record and report to trainers. Monitor staff satisfaction surveys for training issues, improvements and needs, and highlight necessary resolutions. Areas of responsibility: Ensure all Newcross training sessions exceed expectations and deliver the required predetermined content as a minimum. Assess Newcross training facilities and equipment and ensure they are appropriate for the task and kept in good condition. Support BCM’s with new starter inductions. Promotion of training – maintain an effective communication process for all colleagues to ensure they are timely alerted to planned training provision. To invite/offer our clients courses where space is available or course cost needs covering Work with the marketing team to promote training through all digital media. Relevant report writing for monthly management report. Work with the T&D Manager to develop and implement a training strategy to address all current and future training needs for your area.
