Who We Are
Marked Men for Christ ministry was founded in prayerful response to the call of the Holy Spirit to strengthen
the men of this time in history to face the unique challenges they encounter as followers of Jesus Christ.
Today’s Christian men face challenges of; isolation, absent/abusive fathers, busyness, lack of Biblically based
rituals, emotional numbness, workaholics, substance abuse, internet pornography, utter self-reliance, pressure
to succeed, etc. Building on the wisdom and experience of others – and trusting in our Lord Jesus Christ –
MMFC calls men out of their “comfort zone.” After building an atmosphere of trust, men are encouraged to
open their hearts to Jesus Christ, the Truth. In other words, men are invited to “get real” and be honest with
God, themselves and other men. MMFC helps men to acknowledge the various wounds of; deceit/the lie I live,
fear, anger, sadness and shame; then to commend these wounds to Jesus Christ; to receive Christ’s healing in
the midst of brotherly love, and to respond to His gift by embracing their God-given mission in life. MMFC
fosters continuing growth (Matthew 13:1-9) through “soul groups” and various activities post the initial
weekend. Marked Men For Chirst is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)(3), Christian charitable organization.
What We Believe
Marked Men For Christ seeks to help Christian men embrace more fully the gift of the Holy Spirit and the
mark with which they were sealed at Baptism (2 Corinthians 1:22). Working as a complement to others who
proclaim the Gospel, but without affiliation to any denomination or pretense of becoming one, MMFC
responds to the spiritual needs of men in contemporary society by sharing wisdom, exhorting holiness, and
strengthening one another for mission in Jesus Christ.
What You Will Leave With
The MMFC weekends are intense and beautiful Galatians 6v17: Paul is writing to
the church of Galatia, informing them that he too bears the bodily marks of
Jesus. “…for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.” We Christian men have
these bodily marks, like Paul, like Christ — the five wounds. No they are not the
same, they are different. And, they vary from one man to another. But, we are all
wounded — we all bear our own cross. During your MMFC Weekend you will
have the opportunity to discover your woundedness through a series of team and
individual exercises. Importantly, each man is afforded the opportunity to start the
healing, through the power of the Holy Spirit, which leads to a healthier, holier,
stronger man of God! 2 Corinthians 1 v 22; we hear of the deposit of the Holy
Spirit in our hearts. God is in your heart. This deposit of grace is brought forth,
again in a series of wonderful, beautiful exercises that allow each man to see
their own gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Marked Men For Christ scriptural foundation is 2 Corinthians 1 v 22: “He anointed us, set his seal of
ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”
