VCOM SIP Audio Interface The SIP1A device is a single connection SIP device that provides a 4-wire audio connection to HME, Telex, Tempest and Radio Active Design (RAD) wireless intercoms for use with VCOM. For smaller deployments, the SIP1A can replace the Audio Input Device (AID-12 & AID-16) at a fraction of the cost. The SIP1A has minimum requirements for connectivity and configuration allowing for rapid deployment. SIP Connection for wireless intercoms Configured in VCOM system admin application as a 4-Wire SIP device. PoE device using standard IEEE 802.3AF 15.4 Volt DC Power. Red light illuminates when unit is powered. Rugged metal enclosure with black powder coat finish. Entire unit weighs 2.2 lbs. Inside the box: The SIP1A unit with network & audio RJ45 connections. Cable for connecting to the wireless intercom (Radio Active Designs or Telex). The cable for HME or Tempest must be specially requested.
