Classes will run Monday to Friday (Term time only) on site at BPS.

Spanish classes delivered in 2 separate sessions; 15.45-16.45 and 17.00-17.45.

A drink and light snack will be included in each session before the session start . We have a gap before the second session starts to provide second snack only for children staying
second session therefore is very important to be on time for collection at 4.45. Collection after this time (4.45pm) will incur in additional charge of £3.00 as well as picking
up after 6pm. (15 minutes tolerance after 5.45pm)

Spanish with Dance- (performing arts) Dancing is a great opportunity for your little ones to get active and develop physical co-ordination skills,
strength and concentration. It's fun and can become a much-loved hobby your child could carry on enjoying well into adulthood as having fun or even
as a career. The children will work towards preparing a small performance to be presented to parents/carers in the summer term.
Spanish with Sports and Athletics- Sports are great for children to learn fundamental life skills, like teamwork, goal-setting and hard work.
Collaborating with others towards a common goal through sports exhibit traits like cooperation and persistence, which provides the foundation for
them to become successful in their careers and family lives when they reach adulthood. Eg. Outdoor and Indoor activities: running, jumping,
Spanish with Green Planet Crafts – Creative and eco-friendly activity were kids will found inspiration and ideas to realize wonderful projects from
recycling. Kids using their imagination at glance at the same time introducing topics about our planet, basic geography, peoples and customs from
around the world. Eg. Boxes turning into cars, tins becoming drums, scrap pieces of wood sculptures and much more.
Spanish with Play role and Film- For children, role play is essentially learning through play. It is a fun and a ‘playful’ activity but is also a key
component of a child's learning. Is simply a type of pretend play where children get into character and act out a role or real life context. Role play is an
active, social activity and children use role play to reflect on and develop their knowledge of a topic. Great opportunity to extend their vocabulary in
Spanish and have fun.
Film, as a motivator, also makes the language learning process more entertaining and enjoyable, provides authentic and varied language and provides
a source of authentic and varied language. The ‘visuality’ of film makes it an invaluable language teaching tool, enabling learners to understand more
by interpreting the language in a full visual context. These visual clues support the verbal message and provide a focus of attention.
Spanish with Drama- (performing arts) Develops vital skills in voice and movement, public speaking, collaboration, devising, writing, directing and
peer mentoring. Emotion is the door of learning. We will explore characters in a range of situations. Eg. Through role-play. The children will work
towards preparing a small performance in Spanish to be presented to parents/carers in the summer term
Spanish with Science Opportunity to reconnect children with the natural world and create a future generation that values and preserves nature is a
great topic for exploring the natural sciences in Spanish. Eg. Planting our own vegetables/herbs/ flowers watching them grow, food chain cooking healthy
snacks, learning about mammals, birds, insects by observing, painting, playing and lots more.

Spanish with Creative Building - A construction based challenge can be an excellent project for encouraging children to think creatively, to solve
problems and to express their own ideas using a range of practical materials. This activity will help to build new vocabulary in Spanish and
development of a range of important study, work and life skills, including; Problem solving, Creative thinking
Perseverance, motivation and the ability to overcome disappointment, Evaluation, editing and revision, Analytical thinking among others. Eg. Paper
structures, Lego, building with straws, big range of materials to activate their imagination and creativity.
Spanish with Corporal Expression- Is a gentle introduction to a range of yoga and stretching exercises, designed to develop hand and eye coordination skills in a fun session. At the same time, we will learn about the importance of staying healthy by exercising and eating well. Eg. Yoga,
Stretching,
Spanish with Art -An amazing way to learn about real artists and their work by creating our own pieces of art inspired by them and the world around
us. Children will apply and learn different Art techniques. Eg. Vincent Van Gogh using seeds, creating a puzzle with Picasso, paint, draw using all kinds of
materials.
Spanish with Stitching and crafts. Knitting, Crocheting and Sewing are tremendously important skills for children of both genders to acquire.
Knitting and crocheting have once again become important and influential crafts over the past few years are full blown sensory experiences and
children learn about texture, color, pattern and design simultaneously. These crafts have furthermore evolved as powerful expressions of art.
Spanish with Fun Designs. Create your own game. Building toys have significant cognitive and academic benefits for children of all ages. Not only are
they fun and exciting, but they help kids develop a wide variety of skills and abilities. Sometimes children get the most satisfaction from a game which
they have made themselves - whether it be a simple board game invented with their own rules, to a full scale beanbag toss game which can be used for
years. ! Great opportunity for children to extend their vocabulary in Spanish.
