QUALITY AGREEMENT (year) Delivery of (feed materials) from a primary producer to a trader/ animal feed producer The signing of this quality agreement does not relieve you of the obligation to comply with the Royal Decree of 14/11/03 regarding the auto control, notification requirements and traceability (of the European Legislation (EC) No. 183/2005). If you are Vegaplan Standard certified you do satisfy the requirements, and are exempt from signing this agreement (info : www.vegaplan.be) Undersigned: Name and surname: Address: Postal code + city: States as a farmer - producer of vegetable products, intended for human food or animal feed, to commit to the following: 1. To deliver (feed material) that are healthy, sound and of merchantable quality, not considered hazardous to human and animal health; 2. To deliver (feed material), complying with the Legal requirements on the use of protection means for crop and stored products; 3. To perform any drying and/or cleaning and/or storage of harvested products in clean and suitable facilities; 4. To separate harvested products, from cultivation to delivery, from products not considered suitable for use in human food and animal feed. 5. Deliveries should not contain prohibited products such as manure, urine, seeds treated with pesticides, animal products, sludge etc.; 6. To not exceed the contents of undesirable substances (such as ergot, botanical impurities, mycotoxines, residues of pesticides, heavy metals, dioxins) in accordance with the legislation and the Belgian GMP (cf. Technical documents AT-09 and BT-01: www.ovocom.be ). 7. To deliver (feed material) free from animal proteins, and at the same time taking adequate measures considered to be necessary in order to avoid this type of contamination. 8. To ensure hygienic treatment of the (feed material) during the entire production process, in order to prevent any development of pathogenic micro-organisms. (fungi, yeasts, bacteria, …); 9. To carry out the transport, intended for the buyer, myself, with my own material, or to have it done by a GMP certified transport operator, unless it concerns secondary transport (from field to buyer) which in that case should be entrusted to a contractor who is specifically certified Vegaplan Standard “Secondary Transport” (falling under the responsibility of the primary producer); 10. The vehicle, transporting harvested products should be clean, dry, and free of residues, and odors originating from previous transported material. After transporting manure and/or sludge, the transport vehicle must first be thoroughly cleansed with water, and then disinfected, before transporting (feed material). The GMP cleaning scheme “Disinfection” is applicable (see doc. AT-06 items 1.3 and 1.4 : www.ovocom.be). Particular attention must be paid to the air pipes; and to the hydraulic system of the vehicles. 11.
