How to choose or forecast for new classes for next year on a Student Skyward Account.
Choose Schedule on your home page of Skyward. Remember, you must be logged in to a student, not
parent account to do this.
Choose Request Courses for 2016-17 at Centralia High School.

Use the search bar to pick classes. As an example, either use the Skyward code “ART201” for Pottery as
seen on this screen, or keyword “Pottery” for pottery class. You will be moving classes from the left to
the right by clicking the Add Course Button. When you pick classes, they automatically save.

If a class in meant to be yearlong, a dialogue box will appear, asking if you would like both A & B “corequisite”. Choose OK if yes, or Cancel if no (if it is a One Semester class).
Keep adding classes until you get to 6.00 credits in the upper right. Notice the Request Alternates tab.
You will choose 2 alternates at the end.

Notice all 12 classes and 6.00 credits are chosen. All chosen classes are listed in the right column box.

You may choose two alternates [one A and one B] and they are numbered and have an arrow next to
them to move them if you like. You may also remove a class if you make a mistake by clicking the
Remove Course button.
