History At Play’s One-Woman Show Honors Christa McAuliffe on the 30th
Anniversary of the Challenger Tragedy.
Framingham, MA: Judith Kalaora, Founder and Artistic Director of History At Play,
has garnered nationwide attention for her one-woman, living history performances,
chronicling the lives of legendary women. Her performances have received
accolades from journalists, actors, and historians alike and have earned her national
recognition, as she has performed her original program, A REVOLUTION OF HER
OWN! at the United Solo Theatre Festival, on 42nd St., NYC.
Ms. Kalaora returns to Framingham to again embody Christa McAuliffe, a fellow
Framingham native, and revives her legacy in this multi-media performance,
suitable for all ages. CHALLENGER: Soaring With Christa honors the 30th anniversary
of the United States’ Teacher in Space Program, while inviting audiences to discover
the true story behind the incredible teacher. This program, made possible, in part,
by the Framingham Cultural Council and the Bob Jolly Charitable Trust, returns to
Framingham for an encore performance on Sunday April 3, 2016, at 2:00PM, at The

Judith to bring these stories to life…these lost pieces of history. ” The Metrowest
Daily News said of her performance debut, “marvelous…fantastic…taken with
Kalaora's performance. ‘Not only did she present it so you believe she was Christa,
