the Highlands estate, the Highgate Function Centre offers both a cocktail style and sit down
menu, tailored to your wishes. With our experienced staff on hand to assist you, the
Highgate Function Centre will provide you and your guests with an evening to remember
Birthdays
The Highgate Function Centre comes alive at night with its beautiful views of the Melbourne
skyline and modern function facilities. With a plasma screen and a state of the art sound
system for DVDs, CDs & IPods, a party atmosphere is guaranteed. Experienced staff will
assist you in making sure your birthday is the party everyone is talking about for the rest of
the year! Cocktail packages are provided for this type of event.
Corporate Functions
The Highgate Function Centre provides a relaxing and flexible environment for work parties,
corporate functions & Professional Development days. There are many corporate packages
to choose from, including cocktail packages, to all day team building activities incorporating
the AFL facilities at Highgate Recreation Reserve. Providing a fresh take on board room style
corporate functions, with access to a whiteboard, PC/DVD projector, plasma screens, and a
versatile space for any style meeting, the Highgate Function Centre is the ideal place for
your next corporate function.

Christenings, Communions & Confirmations
Highgate Function Centre provides a serene space for the commemoration of these special
sacraments. Resplendent in the soft natural light from its wide windows and offering
panoramic views of the Highlands estate and Melbourne skyline, Highgate provides the
perfect atmosphere for your precious celebration. Cocktail and sit down menu available for
this function.
Club Presentation Nights
Situated at the prime football Mecca of the North, Highgate Recreation Reserve, the
Highgate Function Centre is the perfect venue for your Sporting Club Presentation Night.
Offering both a cocktail style or sit down menu, our experienced staff will be able to tailor
your function to suit your needs. With our plasma screen and a state of the art sound
system for DVDs, CDs & IPods, the Highgate Function Centre has everything you need to
make your night a success!
Room Hire
Room hire fees include the room set up adhering to your room requirements, private use of
the function bar and decking area as well as cocktail or sit down menu service for the entire
night. The Highgate Function Room hire is $400.00 and includes a function supervisor to
oversee the smooth conduct of the function.
For seated functions the tables are set with specialised white linen table cloths and white
linen napkins incorporating all cutlery, crockery, glassware and table numbers. Decorative
table skirting, chair covers and sashes, a Wedding Truel for the Bridal and Cake Table and
table decorations can be provided at an additional cost upon request.
The Highgate Function Centre also has a variety of excellent bands and DJ’s available to
ensure your function is one to remember. 2-3 piece band prices commence at $660.00 and
DJ prices commence at $440.00. We can also provide a wide range of Floorshow Artists to
suit your requirements; their price depends on their standard and availability.

Beverage packages
Open Bar
A bar tab is set up for the sale of drinks to be paid at the end of the function.
All drinks are included in the bar tab.
House Package
A bar tab is set up for the sale of packaged beer, house wine & soft drinks to be
paid at the end of the function. Additional drinks such as spirits & cocktails are
to be paid by the guests.
Function Package
For all functions featuring a sit down menu, a drinks per head package of beer
(Carlton Draught, Victoria Bitter & Cascade Premium Light), wine (Shiraz,
Sauvignon Blanc & Sparkling) & soft drink is available for functions between 4.5
hours and 7 hours. Prices are advised upon application.
Guest Package

Terms and Conditions
To ensure the satisfaction of our guests, the following terms and conditions are applicable to your
event. Please read them carefully and do not hesitate to contact our Function Coordinator if you
have any queries.
1.0 Booking and Deposit In order to confirm your booking: A non-refundable Deposit of 10% (equal
to 10% of your event quote for food & beverage & room costs) must be paid to Coburg Football
Club within 14 days of your booking (we may require payment of the Deposit within 48 hours if
other tentative bookings are received).
1.0.1 Bond Each Function booking requires a bond of $200.00. This can be paid in cash with the
initial deposit or as a credit card preauthorisation. The bond will be refunded/released
within 5 working days of the function date provided that the venue meets the
management’s standards at the conclusion of the function.
1.1 Payment The Estimated Event Charge must be paid in full (less the amount of any deposit
already paid) at least seven (7) Business Days before the event.
1.2 Function Cancellation All deposits paid are non refundable. In addition, the following
cancellation fees apply if you cancel the event: More than 14 days notice- unless otherwise specified
the deposit will be forfeited. If your event is cancelled 7 days prior to function date, Highgate
Function Centre require 50% of your event’s full payment.
1.3 Conduct of the Function Unless otherwise agreed by Highgate Function Centre your event must
finish at the time specified in the Booking Form. Your event must be conducted in an orderly and
lawful manner. Highgate Function Centre reserves the right to end your event if the management
reasonably believes that your event is not being conducted in an orderly and lawful manner.
Highgate Function Centre takes no responsibility for any costs, damages or expenses that you may
incur in relation to the cancellation of your event. Highgate Function Centre may remove or deny
entry to anybody being disruptive or acting in a disorderly manner. No food or beverages of any
kind, other than those provided by Highgate Function Centre will be permitted onto the premises.
Highgate Function Centre practices principles of responsible service of alcohol. Intoxicated persons
will not be served alcohol and will be removed from the premises.
1.3.1 Access to Function Room Access to the Function Room area will be available 90 minutes prior
to the commencement of the function. Any other arrangements must be made and approved by
management.
1.4 Substitution of Function Room Highgate Function Centre may assign an alternative function
room for your event if the appointed function room is unavailable for any reason. Highgate Function
Centre will, where possible, consult with you before making any changes.
1.5 No Responsibility Highgate Function Centre is not responsible for theft, damage or loss of any
goods brought into the venue. These terms and conditions are accepted.
