Welcome from the AzCB President
I want to welcome you to the 41st Annual Conference and
Convention of the Arizona Council of the Blind. I am
excited to be in Tucson, and I want to thank the
Convention Committee and the Southern Arizona Chapter
for their hard work and hospitality. They have all
contributed a great deal of time, effort and energy to
ensure that you will enjoy an interesting, informative and
fun time here in Tucson. Whether you’re interested in a
night at the Gaslight Theater, a turn or two at our Game
Night, learning about what’s new in the world of
technology or just curious about what the AzCB has to
offer, I know there will be much for you to do and learn.
The AzCB is a membership organization, and our success
depends on your involvement and on the involvement of
each of our members and friends. Therefore, I urge you
to take advantage of the programs we have to offer, the
exciting Exhibits Area, the fun events that have been
planned, our Business Meeting and Chapter Elections set
for Saturday and all the rest. If you do, we will all come
away stronger, better connected and ready to meet the
challenges that face us all.
