PSA Quiz ‘n’ Chips Night
Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Quiz ‘n’ Chips
Night for this term.
External Examinations
All students have now been issued with Statements of Entry
which detail the times and dates of all their GCSE/A level
examinations in the summer. These are important documents
which should be kept safely until the start of the examination
series and then brought to each examination.
Parents are asked to check with students that these
statements have been brought home.

Riverside Car Park
A letter has been emailed to parents from the Bursar with regards to the forthcoming closure of Riverside Car Park at
the end of April. Please let me know if you have not received it. It will also be published on the website.
Thetford Singers
On Wednesday 25 March Polina Sosnina, an ex TGS pupil, will be accompanying Thetford Singers for their
performance of Fauré’s Requiem. Polina is currently an organ scholar at Magdalene College, Cambridge and this will be
the second time she has accompanied Thetford Singers at St Cuthbert’s Church. Please see the attached poster for
more details.

Library News
Readathon
Some of our pupils are having fun seeing how many books, magazines, comics etc they can read in two weeks and raise
money for charities which do wonderful work for sick children. Our Readathon can be done any time between now and
the end of the Easter Holidays. If you want to take part in Readathon please don’t feel pressured into raising lots of
money – the main thing is to enjoy the challenge and know that any money you do raise is going to help other children.
Sponsor cards are available from Mrs Settle. Please return your sponsor money by Friday 17th April.

World Book Day House Library Quiz
A first for Reeds!
In Tuesday’s quiz the team from Coles, who won the last three Senior House Library Quizzes, were beaten into joint
third place (with Cronsheys) by Reeds. Huge congratulations go to Christian Eade, Johnny Jenkins, Harvey Jordan, Rory
White, Alana Wilson and Elizabeth Wright who won the House Library Quiz for Reeds for the fist time since the start of
the competition! Millingtons were second in a close competition which had only two points between the first and third
teams.

The Skills East (Year 10) – Thursday 12th March. Please return your slips and money as soon as possible if you would

Burgundy July 2015 – The third instalment of £150 is due now and the fourth and final payment is due by the 30th
April.
Ardèche July 2015 – balance due by Friday 22nd May.
