PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible to design, integrate, evaluate and support mechanical sub-systems mechanisms and
components used in military systems. Conduct system engineering in a supportive role to the system
engineer, support procurement of hardware and logistic department as well as task management in a
supportive role to the project manager.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design of sub-systems and components.
Conduct analytical calculations and basic simulations on components and sub-systems.
Generate and review subsystem specifications (Development, Test Spec, etc.)
Comprehend and analyse complex mechanical problems and develop solutions.
Mentor, supervise, contractors and junior designers.
Generate and review 2D Data Packs.
Plan and conduct subsystem verification.
CRITICAL SKILLS
-
Mechanism Design and Simulations
Pro Engineer / CREO Mechanism Design and Simulation
Knowledge and experience in System Life Cycle Process
Knowledge and experience in a military environment
Adams Multi Body Dynamics will be an advantage
ECSA registration as a Professional Engineer
Knowledge and Good Interpretation of Finite Element Analysis
Analyzing of test and design data on software like Matlab, etc.
