Entry #4
Entry #5
SCHEDULE:
When are you going
to complete it?
In Other Words: Try expressing yourself through someone else’s words. Select
at least five “Quotable Quotes” that are meaningful to you. Choose quotations
that represent your thoughts on several aspects of life – success, faith, love,
integrity, character, friendship, etc. List the FIVE you have selected, including
ATTRIBUTION (who said it), and briefly explain what each quote means to you.
Everyday Life in 2016: As you write this entry, you will be recording
history, so write with honesty. Describe a typical day in your life during
school and during the summer. What is “in” with you and your friends? What
music do you like? What television shows, movies, games, etc. do you enjoy?
What is definitely not “in” with you and your friends? Describe what kind of
clothes and shoes you and your friends typically wear. Describe what kinds of
hairstyles are popular and what your hair looks like. What are some things
about you that will probably change by the time you graduate high school?
What are some things that will definitely stay the same?
***Include a picture of yourself.***
Groups and Outsiders: What kind of people do you like to spend time with?
Are you a member of a group? If so, which one? Have you ever felt left out of
a group? If so, how did it feel? If not, how would you imagine that it feels?
How important is “belonging” to you?
Entry #6
(Pick one)
OR
My Ideal Friend: This is a more “hypothetical” write. This can be a poem or
a few paragraphs. Write about what you think are important attributes in any
friend that you keep. Loyalty? Honesty? Sense of humor? Pick the
characteristics that your dream friend (or maybe your real best friend) has!
Write about these things and explain why they are important to you.
