Important Notes:
You may bring your own cake and light snacks or we can provide various food options for you
through our onsite catering staff or concessions. (Outside catering companies are not
permitted).
You will not have access to a refrigerator or freezer to keep items cold.
You will not have access to a kitchen so please be sure to bring items that are ready to serve.
Party decorations such as table linens, napkins and plates are not supplied.
We will use 6 ft. tables to set up your room.
Balloons and confetti are not permitted due to the potential safety hazards to the animals.
Your admission tickets will be mailed to you in advance so that you can distribute them to your
guests, making Zoo entry easy and speedy!
The Zoo is open from 9am – 5pm and everyone is welcome to stay the entire day.
We will designate 1 ½ hours for the birthday experience.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Since this is a party for children, do the parents count as part of the party?
o Yes, parents do count towards the overall guest count.
Then also, do I need to pay for an additional cost for members? For example, the
grandparents are members and I'm sure they would like to be there. Can they join us, or do I
need to pay an additional cost?
o Yes, members will need a ticket to come to the party. Set up and facility costs are based
on the number of people so even members are required to pay a reduced fee.
o The extra person fee for members is $5.00 or $6.00 depending on your party package
(we offer 50% off member tickets).
Is parking included in the price?
o Yes, parking is included in the ticket price.
How many animals are included in the animal encounter?
o We bring 1-2 of our standard animals to the party.
o Please keep in mind that while we can make requests for specific animals, we cannot
guarantee them due to health, temperament, etc. We allow the keepers to make that
decision on party day.
Is there a special area to park so I can bring in supplies to the party?
o No. You will likely be parking in the main lot at Vine Street and will need to transport
your items to the party space on your own.
o We strongly recommend bringing a wagon or a wheeled cooler to transport your items.
What about ice cream? How will I keep it cold?
o Most parties do not have ice cream for this reason.
o We recommend serving cake only on party day.
