Purposes of ESWSFI
 Reviewing existing faculty staffing challenges
across Maryland by program level
 Investigate current efforts aimed at managing
staffing challenges in Maryland
 Explore additional solutions while managing all
data in a central location.
 Gain a broader understanding of regional
similarities and differences in the shortage of
nursing faculty and preceptors
 Build bridges for collaborative problem-solving

Next Steps
 Consider another NSP-2 grant proposal to
implement ES-FAMI across the State
 Revise ES-FAMI materials to be relevant for
preceptors who work with graduate students
