After a bogey on the 11th hole, Andrade made a run with birdies on the 13th, 14th, and 15th holes to grab the lead. He punctuated his round with a birdie on the 18th hole. Andrade is looking for his first Champions Tour victory in an individual event, as his lone tour win came at the Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf with Joe Durant as his partner. Bernhard Langer and Jeff Freeman are tied for second place at 137 (-7) and will play with Andrade in the final group off the first tee Sunday. After making just one birdie in Friday’s first round, Langer made eight birdies in the second round, including four birdies over the final five holes, to shoot 66. Meanwhile, Freeman, an alternate who found out he was in the field 20 minutes before teeing off in Monday’s qualifier, posted four birdies over a five-hole stretch from the seventh hole through the 11th hole on his way to a 68. Five players are tied for fourth place with a two-round total of 140 (-4), including Fred Couples and firstround leader Larry Mize.
