The quality or condition of being soluble. A measure of this ability for a particular substance in a particular solvent, equal to the quantity of substance dissolving in a fixed quantity of solvent to form a saturated solution under specified temperature and pressure. It is expressed in grams per cubic decametre, grams per hundred grams of solvent, moles per mole, etc. If we went out in summer clothes when it's cold outside we would need a longer time to warm up, but if we went out in warm clothes when it's hot outside we would get warm right away. This process can be likened to the more substance dissolution in the water, in cold water substance soluble for longer, but in hot water it dissolves instantly.
