Job Title: 1:1 Behavior Technician In‐school setting Department: Educational Services Reports To: FLSA Status: Non‐exempt Prepared Date: July, 2015 Easter Seals Central California is currently looking for qualified Behavior Technicians to make a difference in the lives of students with disabilities. This is a great opportunity for you to enrich the life of a young person who has special needs. We have openings with students who have a variety of behavioral and developmental disabilities that we can match to your experience and abilities. Positions that are 20‐30 hours per week are available and follow a regular, school schedule. Key Responsibility: 
Provide professional behavior support to school‐aged individuals with autism and/or behavioral needs while in the classroom. Required Qualifications: 





High school diploma or GED 2 years of higher education or pass a formal state assessment Minimum 6 months experience serving individuals requiring behavioral support either in a paid or volunteer position CPR/First Aid prior to employment Cleared TB test Cleared background check Preferred Qualifications: 
Knowledge and experience with behavior intervention principles such as, ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) and/or Positive Behavioral Intervention; however, training will be provided. *Rate of pay is between $15.00‐$16.00 per hour based on experience Upon Hire: All applicants will need to complete an Easter Seals Central California employment application.
