1. Entries are accepted on a “First come first served” basis. Once the entries are full, the below
entry deadline will be invalid.
2. The Club reserves the right to refuse any late entry or entry without confirmation of payment.
3. Entry form and payment fee must be submitted no later than 14th July 2017
4. Participants can arrange their own accommodation in Siem Reap. However, those wishing to
stay at Le Meridien should complete page 7 stating clearly your preferred dates of stay and
other requests.

Management
The Organizing Committee of Angkor Golf Resort will be responsible for the administration of the
competition whose decision on all matters shall be final.
The tournament will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and
Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R&A) and the United States Golf Association (USGA) and the
Local Rules of Angkor Golf Resort.
Entry/ Eligibility
1. The Tournament is open to amateur golfers with handicap index 28 or below for Men and handicap
index 36 or below for Ladies based on the USGA handicap System as of August 2017
2. All entries must be submitted on an official Entry Form fully completed and signed by Entrants
and endorsed by Home Club. If a player has his/her handicap maintained at more than one club,
he/she shall declare the lower handicap.
3. Entries shall be limited to a maximum of 108 participants. All entries shall be subject to the
approval of the Organizing Committee.
4. Entries shall be submitted not later than 5.00 pm local time, 14th July 2017 to Angkor Golf Resort

may be accepted at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.
5. Entry fees are to be submitted at the time of entry form submission and payable by credit card,
cash or bank transfer. The entry fee is US$ 325 for new entries & US$ 295 for past
participants. Entry is subject to confirmation acceptance of payment by the Club. Entry fee shall
be forfeited for cancellation of entries after the closing date.

Rules of Play
1. The tournament shall be decided by two rounds of 18-hole on Angkor Golf Resort, played by
stroke play format in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R& A, USGA and the
Local Rules of Angkor Golf Resort. The commencement of play will be shotgun start. Players
arriving to the tee after their start time will be disqualified without refund. The Organizing
Committee’s decision shall be final in the event of circumstances which make the playing of 2
rounds of 18-hole impracticable, to cancel the rounds at its discretion.
2. The Organizing Committee shall oversee all aspect of the event whose decisions on all matters shall
be final.

3. Tournament Tees: Division A Blue Tee, Division B and Senior White Tee and Ladies from the
Red Tee both days at Angkor Golf Resort. Senior (over 55) players wishing to compete for the
Open Title (best overall gross) must play in Division A.
4. In the event of a tie for Overall Gross Champion, the winner shall be decided on a holes-by-hole
sudden death play-off at a designated hole at Angkor Golf Resort, and repeated at the same hole
until a winner is decided.
5.
Count-back System for 18-Hole/36 Hole: the Club count-back system shall be in accordance to
the count-back system of the R&A. This will be implemented for the Nett prizes only.
6. All participants must report to the starter at least 15 minutes prior to the appointed tee off. If a
player arrives at starting tee ready to play, within five minutes after scheduled starting time, the
penalty for failure to start on time is two strokes at the first hole. If the player still fails to appear at
the starting tee within this period, he/she shall be disqualified.

7. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend or allocate the starting times.
8. In the event of inclement weather preventing any player from completing a round, Rules 33-2 (d)
and 6-8 will apply and the result of the tournament will be decided by number of round completed
within the time limit set by Organizing Committee whose decision shall be final.
9. The attention of all players is draw to Rule 6-7 regarding undue slow play. In the interest of fair
play the Organizing Committee will not hesitate to impose the penalties stipulated by tournament
rule.

9. The tournament shall utilize shared buggy and one caddy per golfer on a compulsory basis.

1. Practice round: Course is open for practice from 7:00am to 4:00pm local time on 4th August 2017
Please book your tee time in advance. Those wishing to play additional rounds will be charged
directly upon check in at a reduced rate of $105 including Caddy and Sharing Cart (Add $10 for
single cart)
2. Registration: Participants are asked to register on Friday, 4th August 2017 between 7:00am to 2pm
local time at the Clubhouse.
