King’s Pointe Waterpark Resort Sales Manager Job Description Job Summary: To effectively focus on selling King’s Pointe Waterpark Resort by prospecting new clients within a 250 mile radius. Applicant will aid the existing sales office in maintaining customer relations while maintaining the company’s standard for excellence to result in the overall success of King’s Pointe Waterpark Resort. Duties and Responsibilities: Uphold the highest level of customer service Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards guests and staff Maintain a professional appearance and mannerism Identify leads for new clients within a 250 mile radius Learn about target communities and establish relationships Work collaboratively with the executive management team to achieve the companies’ strategic goals and direction including sales goals, quotas and sales budgets in support of the companies’ overall budget expectations Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly sales forecasts with appropriate implementation of performance benchmarks and reporting Network with individuals and organizations in the industry to better understand future industry direction, build a network of resources, and assist with the recruitment of other facility positions Participate in team meetings to communicate strategy, objectives, priorities and tactics to ensure the team’s goals and results are consistent with the company direction Responsible for participating in select public relations activities as directed by the GM & DOS Distribute comprehensive, integrated marketing materials to promote the facility including brochures, promotional materials, event and party marketing packages and related materials Assist in implementation of creative in-house promotions throughout the year to increase traffic flow in all areas of the resort Create, manage and maintain events in SalesPro Use Opera to make reservations and issue payments on banquet accounts Assist catering manager and banquet supervisor when needed at banquet events Attend local and radial community events Maintain clear and open communication between all staff members Complete all other duties as assigned Employment Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS), desired 1 to 2 years Sales Experience Experience implementing sales strategies desired Must be able to show strong leadership abilities and a history of leadership in a team-oriented work environment Projects a professional company image; personable and polished High Level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations Computer Proficiency Self Starter Compensation: King’s Pointe Resort offers a competitive compensation package including salary, incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package Compensation will be commensurate with experience and quality of candidate To apply, please send a resume and completed application to Kelli Berg at (712) 213.5701 or [email protected].
