CHRYSO® VRM 815
Vertical mill grinding aid
CHRYSO® VRM 815 is a grinding aid specifically
formulated for cement grinding in vertical roller
mills.
Domains of application
CHRYSO® VRM 159 main benefit is vibrations
reduction, allowing water injection reduction,
production increase and cement quality
improvement.
Precautions
Cement grinding according EN 197-1 standards,
type I through V specifications
Do not mix with other products without advice
from manufacturers.
Method of use
- Reduces mill vibrations (10% to 30% reduction).
- Increases mill productivity (5% to 15%) depending
on grinding equipment properties and the
characteristics of the materials to be ground.
- Reduces water injection (up to 50%) at constant
vibrations due to better stabilisation and regulation
of the bed thickness.
- Lower water addition to cement often reduces
setting time and has positive effects on strengths.
- Reduces grinding energy costs.
- Provides a positive Packset effect.
Indicative characteristics
Ready-to-use liquid additive.
Industrial trials are required to determine the
optimum dosage.
Common dosage is 0.2 kg to 0.8 kg/ metric tonne of
material to be ground.
This product may be introduced directly in the mill
or on the feed conveyor belt.
For continuous process, this product will be
incorporated using a volumetric dosing pump with a
regular output (please contact our Technical
Assistance).
