Bio Blue™
Trypan Blue Ophthalmic Solution 0.06 % W/V
Bio Blue™ is a sterile solution of Trypan Blue,
a biocompatible intraocular solution used in
the human eye during ophthalmic surgery.
Selectively stains connective tissue structures
such as, the anterior lens capsule of the
crystalline lens.
Trypan blue is intended to be applied directly
on the anterior lens capsule - staining any
portion of the capsule which comes in
contact with the dye. The dye does not
penetrate the capsule, permitting
visualisation of the anterior capsule in
contrast to the non-stained lens cortex and
inner lens material.
Indications include:
l Phacoemulsification.
l Small Incision Cataract surgery.
l Extra capsular Cataract surgery.
l Anterior / Posterior Capsulotomy.
l DMEK and DALK.

Acid Blue 90 Ophthalmic Solution
Bio Blue™ 90 is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, isotonic solution of
Acid Blue 90 (a non-fluorescent Triphenylmethane) stain for
use in the human eye.
l Ready to use.
l No mixing or filtration is required.
l Easy to use and remove.
Indications include:
l An adjunct to vitreoretinal surgery
l Enhances visualisation of the Epiretinal Membrane
during Macular Hole and Pucker surgery.
l Enhances visualisation and facilitates ILM peeling.
l Capsular stain for Continuous Curvilinear
Capsulorhexis.
