GCSAI IRISH OPEN VOLUNTEER TEAM 2017
Portstewart Golf Club will host the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open next year, July 6th-9th and the GCSAI
are delighted in conjunction with Course Manager Bernard Findley to have the opportunity to
support our National Open.
To apply for a position on the volunteer team fill out the application form overleaf and reply by
email, closing date for applications is the 27/1/2017.
This is a fantastic opportunity to experience tournament preparation first hand as part of the
greenkeeping team. All accommodation, food, clothing and transport to and from the venue will be
provided for our volunteer team. Depending on your availability you will have the chance to be part
of the team for two weeks starting on Monday the 26th of June. All those on the team will benefit
from gaining new knowledge and insight into tournament preparation and presentation, while been
part of the whole Irish Open team experience.
So if you want to be part of this once in a lifetime opportunity, while aiding your personal and
professional development get your application in as soon as possible. All members of our team will
qualify for GCSAI CPD Credits.

To ensure the continued maintenance of the 3 courses at Portstewart, volunteers may be required
(though unlikely) to work on either the Riverside, Old or Strand Course.

There will be a team briefing meeting on Monday the 26th June and Monday the 3rd July
