Team members must be able to complete 25 yards w/o distress.
Cardinal Aquatics will stress the teaching and refining of all four competitive strokes, starts and
turns as well as aerobic conditioning. The emphasis will be on a fun, learning and stress free
environment. Cardinal Aquatics will fill the void between swim lessons and travel swim teams. If a
swimmer eventually wants to move up to a competitive team, our staff will set that up for them.
Coaching Staff will consist of North Central College Swim Team Coaches and Team Members.
Team Setup
Three levels:
Yellow
Red
Black
(5 years old is minimum age)
8 & Under = 1 practice/week @ 60 mins.
9 – 10
= 1 practice/week @ 75 mins.
11 & Up = 3 practices/week @ 60 mins.
Practice Times
Black = MWF 5 – 6 PM **If space allows, more advanced Red swimmers may move up

(Due to NCC College meets, there will be 6 – 7 Sunday afternoon practices)

TRYOUTS WILL BE ON Oct.1 @ 10 AM w/ REGISTRATION TO FOLLOW.
The season will run from Oct. – May with Dec. 12 - 31 off for Winter Break. All other area teams
finish in March. Finishing in May will segue right into the Naperville Park District season (if
swimmers choose to do so). Full team info will be handed out at the Oct. 1 tryouts.
**Returning Cardinal Aquatics swimmers will not need to try out, only register.**
