MATERIALS THE HABITAT RESTORES ACCEPT AND SELL
APPLIANCES – Clothes Washers*, Dryers*, Refrigerators*, Freezers*, Stoves*, Cook-tops* / Ovens*, AC
Units*, Range Hoods**, Microwaves**, Dishwashers**, Water Heaters [new]**, etc.
* Ten (10) years old or newer, clean, and in 100% working order.
** Five (5) years old or newer, clean, and in 100% working order.
CABINETS* - Kitchen Cabinets, Bathroom Cabinets, Bathroom Vanities, Medicine Cabinets, etc.
* Twenty (20) years old or newer and have all doors and drawers.
* Must be free of mold, water damage, structural damage, and all vanity tops must have cabinet with it.
DOORS* - Interior / Exterior Doors, Storm Doors, Patio Doors [w/frame only], Shower Doors [new], etc.
* Must be free of damage, fogged glass, lead paint, etc.
** We are NOT accepting hollow core doors or broken door jambs.
ELECTRICAL* - All Electrical Supplies and Accessories
* Must be modern and not obsolete. We do NOT accept electronics, computers, monitors, or TVs.
FLOORING - Hard Wood Flooring, Carpeting*, Vinyl*, Tile**, Laminate**, etc.
* Must be new; we are NOT accepting these materials used. Must also be a minimum of 36 square feet.
** Must be new; we are NOT accepting these materials used.
FURNITURE* - Dressers, Tables, Chairs, Shelving, Hutches, Armoires, Framed Mirrors, Bed Frames
[frames only], etc. We accept upholstered furniture on a case by case basis; no reclining furniture.
* We are NOT accepting pressboard furniture at this time.
* We are NOT accepting office items, entertainment centers, or futons at this time.
MATERIALS THE HABITAT RESTORES ACCEPT AND SELL
HARDWARE* – All Hardware and Fasteners (i.e. Handles, Hinges, Screws, Nails, etc.)
* Must be free of rust and usable.
LIGHTING AND CEILING FANS* – All residential lighting fixtures and ceiling fans.
* We are NOT accepting fluorescent light fixtures, ballasts, or bulbs, incandescent bulbs, or broken fans.
LAWN AND GARDEN – Tools* (i.e. Shovels, Rakes, etc.), Yard Equipment, Pavers**, etc.
* Must be working and clean
** We are NOT accepting bricks or blocks at this time. Pavers are accepted seasonally.
LUMBER* - Plywood, Paneling, Trim [new only], Dimensional and Framing Lumber, Particleboard,
Composite Decking, etc.
* Lumber and trim must be a minimum of six feet (6’) in length and sheet goods must be a minimum of a
1/2 sheet or 4’x4’ in size. All wood products must be free of water damage and mold and no cutouts.
PLUMBING* - Kitchen Sinks, Pedestal and Drop-in Bathroom Sinks, Utility Sinks, Bath Tubs, Corian
Countertops, Toilets [new], Plumbing Hardware, etc.
* We are NOT accepting solid surface vanity tops or granite countertops at this time.
TOOLS* - Power Tools, Hand Tools, Garden Tools, Tool Boxes and Storage, etc.
* All tools must be in 100% working order and have all safety guards, batteries, cords, etc.
WINDOWS* – All windows that are less than ten (10) years old.
* Must have all sashes and frames and must be free of broken glass and fogged glass.
** For large windows, please call for pre-approval. We are NOT accepting storm windows or screens.
MISCELLANEOUS – Insulation [new*], Roofing Material [new*], and Antique** (typically pre-1960s), etc.
* Items must be in original packaging.
** Antiques need to be in good condition and not need any work done to them.

No Hollow Core Slab Doors
No Solid Surface Vanity Tops
