African American Artisan and Author Fair at Lexington Market
February 1st thru February 25th (Everyday excluding Sunday)
Calling all Artisans and Authors
Lexington Market is hosting an Artisan and Author Fair in Celebration of Black History Month. Thousands of
guests visit Lexington Market on a weekly basis, locals and tourists; with the right mix of local artists and
vendors we are confident this event will grab the attention
Description of Event:
o Location: Lexington Market Arcade, 400 West Lexington Street
o Date: February 1st thru February 25th, 2017 – February 1st to 11th for Authors Fair. February 13th to 25th
for Artisans and Crafts.
o Vendor set-up begins at 8:00am, doors open to the public at 10am
o Fee $50 for vendor space.
o An assigned space with 8 foot table and Floor length black table cloth and table signage.
o Vendors need to provide and set-up/break down their own displays.
o Vendors are responsible for their own displays and will remain until the official 6pm close time.
o Each vendor is responsible for the conduct of representatives and activities must not detract from the
image or welfare of the market.
Fee:
o $50 – Please return the completed application with remittance of fee - $50. Checks payable to
Lexington Market, Inc. Mail to: Lexington Market 400 W. Lexington Street, Baltimore, MD 21201, Attn:
Artisan and Author Fair. Fee will be returned to vendors who are not accepted.
Application Check List:
o Complete Vendor Application with Fee and mail to: Lexington Market, Inc. 400 W. Lexington Street, 2nd
Floor Baltimore, MD 21201.
o Email photos of your products to [email protected] or include hard copies of photos with
application.
o Application deadline is Friday, January 20th.
Notification of Selected Vendors:
o Selected vendors will be notified no later than Wednesday, January 25th.
o Directions and additional information will be supplied to selected Vendors prior to the event.
o NOTE: Lexington Market reserves the right to substitute items being provided for the vendors or
changes to the event as necessary.
