Things you need to know
P.E - This term all Badgers and Hedgehogs will have PE on a Tuesday and a
Thursday.
Please ensure that the children have an appropriate PE kit in school on these
days and that it is named!
Home learning:
•Please try to read with your child at home for 5-10 minutes everyday.
Please record the reading you do in the yellow reading record. (All children)
• Maths games: counting in steps of 2, 3 and 5 (Year 2)
Counting, ordering, recognising numbers to 20 (year 1)
• Spellings – we are trialling a new spelling scheme, ‘No nonsense’ spelling.
Later in the year, children will be coming home with spelling patterns to
practise. ( Year 1 and 2)
•Show and Tell is on Fridays, please bring one
small item or photograph, nothing that is too precious!
Please ensure children have a named water bottle at school
