Tournament Regulations
This is your opportunity to play in the 2014 World Pool championships by entering the EPA qualifying stages, to be held
at Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth.
Four players will win through to join the world’s leading players to compete for the title of World Pool Champion at the
Grand Finals at The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool.
Entry:
Restricted to EPA card holders who are over 18 years of age by the closing date, with an entry fee of
£25 per person. Elegability will be checked prior to play commencing. Closing date for entry is Sunday
16th of March. Entry forms to be sent, with a cheque/postal order, made payable to EPA, to the tournament
office.
Rules:
Played to World 8-ball Pool Rules.
Play:
Play will commence at 5-00pm on Thursday 27th March (subject to entries) Friday’s play will commence at
9.00am, the event will be played down to the last four players who will go forward to the Grand Finals in
Blackpool commencing on Tuesday 24th of June, prize includes £400 cash, entry in to the event and two
nights accommodation in the four star Imperial Hotel Blackpool.
The draw will be displayed on the EPA web site as soon as possible after the close of entries.
This is an open draw, all players should plan that they may be required to play on Thursday
No denims or trainers please. EPA Dress code will be enforced.
Venue:
Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth. Accommodation forms will be forwarded if requested, giving
special rates for those who wish to stay over the weekend. Thursday evening accommodation will be
available at no extra cost for entrants who are staying the weekend, subject to availability.
Conditions All players must agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the English Pool Association.
Of Entry: The Tournament Director’s decisions will be final in all cases. This is a limited entry competition and the
competition will be closed prior to the closing date if sufficient entries are received.
The EPA operates a drug testing policy, any competitor at any EPA event may be requested to take a test.
