Get Started
Introduction
SkyGraph is the tool of choice for the rapid configuration of SharePoint sites. It lets
advanced users and developers rapidly build solutions in response to business needs.
Leverage the building blocks of SkyGraph in an easy to use environment to compose nocode solutions that encompass a variety of common scenarios; ranging from collaborative
sites to web publishing to line-of-business data integration and business intelligence
solutions.
Purpose
This user manual contains detailed instruction for users install SkyGraph and start creating
projects.

Access SkyGraph
To access the SkyGraph application, you need to login and provide valid credentials.

Open internet browser and provide your application URL and click enter.
The login screen will display.
Enter valid Email and Password provided by your application administrator.
Click Sign in button.
Now you are successfully logged into the SharePoint subscription.
6. Click SkyGraph from the list of your installed application.
7. SkyGraph application will launch.
8. Once application is loaded completely, you’ll see SkyGraph Dashboard screen.

SkyGraph Dashboard
Dashboard is the first screen you’ll see once you access SkyGraph.
Here you’ll see the project ribbon to perform multiple actions, object library, project
canvas and properties window.
Properties window is hidden by default.
1. Project Tab: Project tab is selected by default. On project tab you’ll see following:
a. New: Click “New” button to Create a new SharePoint Project.
b. Open: Click “Open” button to Open an Existing SharePoint Project
c. Save: Click “Save” button to Save project
d. Save As: Click “Save As” button to Save As Project
e. Validate: Click “Validate” button to Validate Project
f. Import from SharePoint: Click “Import from SharePoint” to Import” to import
existing site content into SkyGraph
g. Publish Application: Click “Publish Application” button to deploy Publish
your configurations to SharePoint Application
h. Project Explorer: Click “Project Explorer” button to view the list of all saved
projects.

1. Edit Tab
Edit tab is located next to the Project tab. You’ll see all edit actions in this tab.
On edit tab you’ll see following:
a. Cut: Click “Cut” button to Cut.
b. Copy: Click “Copy” button to Copy any object from canvas and you can paste
the copied object to another object group.
c. Undo: Click “Undo” button to Undo last change (you may also click redo once
you click undo button).
d. Version History: Click “Version History” button to Version History.
e. Discard Changes: Click “Discard Changes” button to Discard Changes.
f. Check-In: Click “Check-In” button to Check-In.
g. Manage My Toolbox: Click “Manage my toolbox” button to Manage my
Toolbox.
2. View Tab
View Tab is located next to the edit tab. You’ll see all actions in this tab.
On view tab you’ll see following:
a. Search: Click “Search” button to Search.
b. Project Dashboard: Click “Project Dashboard” button to Project Dashboard.
c. Snapshot: Click “Snapshot” button to Snapshot.
d. Share: Click “Share” button to Share.
e. Export: Click “Export” button to Export.
f. Import: Click “Import” button to Import.
g. Client Registration: Click “Client Registration” button to Client Registration.

3. Object library toolbox
Object library toolbox is located on the left side. In Object Library toolbox you’ll see the
following :
a. Website: Click “Website” to view Website template options.
b. List & Libraries: Click “List & Libraries” to view List & Libraries options.
c. Content Types: Click “Content Types” to view Content Types options.
d. WebParts: Click “WebParts” to view WebParts options.
e. Security: Click “Security” to view Security options.
f. UI Items: Click “UI Items” to view UI Items options.
4. Project Canvas
Project Canvas is located center screen below the project ribbon. In Project Canvas you’ll see the
projects and objects. And some button are as follows:
a. Zoom+: Click “Zoom +” button to zoom-in the canvas area.
b. Zoom -: Click “Zoom -” button to zoom-out the canvas area.
c. Zoom to Fit: Click “zoom to fit” to view canvas area objects fit in the canvas.

d. Center Root: Click “Center Root” button to view the objects in the center of
the canvas.
e. Reset Zoom: Click “Reset Zoom” button to reset the zoom in/zoom out
behavior to default zoom level.
f. Reset Layout: Click “Reset Layout” button to reset the layout of the canvas
objects to its original state.
5. Properties Window
Properties window allows you to set the property of every object in the canvas. Every
object has its own property details.
Properties Window appears when you mouse hover on Properties
.
Properties button is available at top right on the header section and you can pin also
make property window expanded to the right panel.
a. On Canvas click Project (Site Pages) or any object you see on canvas, you’ll
see the properties to the right side panel.
b. You’ll see five properties tabs, named as (Security, Site Content, Create
Column, Content Type, Data Import).
c. Once everything is set-up according to your requirements, click Save button
from top project ribbon bar.
d. Your project has been saved successfully.

Create New Project
Creating new project is lot easier, using drag & drop objects to the canvas to seamlessly
display objects in form of context diagram and set-up properties of objects.
Here we’ll guide you that, how to create a new project and validate to save it successfully.
New Project
1. On hover of the New option, the system highlights the icon as indication of the
option being selected.
2. Click New button.
3. You’ll see “Create a New SharePoint Project” popup window.
4. Enter Project Name and then Project Description. (Project Description is optional
to enter).
5. Click Create button. (If you have changed your mind, then you can click Cancel
button to close the process).
6. Project is added into the canvas and you’ll be able add objects to canvas.

Drag and Drop object to canvas
1. From the left object toolbox, select the object and drag it to the canvas.
Set Properties
1. On Canvas click Project (Site Pages), and you’ll see the properties to the right panel.
2. On Canvas click Project (Site Pages), you’ll see the properties panel to the right
side.
3. In Object Properties Panel you’ll see five properties tabs, named as (Security, Site
Content, Create Column, Content Type, Data Import).
4. Once everything is set-up according to your requirements, click Save button from
top Project ribbon bar.
5. Your project has been saved successfully.
Open Project
1. On hover of the Open option, the system highlights the icon to indicate the option
being selected.
2. Click Open button.

3. You’ll see “Open an Existing SharePoint Project”.
4. Select or Search project from ‘My Projects’ or ‘Projects Share With Me’ tab and
click Open button.
Save Project
Save project allows you to save project.
1. On hover of the Save option, the system highlights the icon as indication of the
option being selected.
2. On selection of the Save option, the system saves all changes made to all opened
projects displayed within the canvas.
3. The system displays confirmation message “Project Saved Successfully” on the top
right side of the SkyGraph project dashboard.
Save As Project
Save As option allows you to save project with different name.
1. On hover of the Save As option, the system highlights the icon as indication of the
option being selected.

2. Click Save As from the Project ribbon bar to save project.
3. You’ll see Save SharePoint Projects As pop-up screen.
4. Enter Project Name then Project Description and click Save button.
5. Now your project has been saved successfully.
Validate Project
Validation option allows you validate the project to avoid missing information or invalid
information.
1. On hover of the Validate option, the system highlights the icon as indication of the
option being selected.
2. Click Validate to validate your project.
3. You’ll see Validation Summary screen along error message if you have missed some
information or provided invalid information.

4. If all required information are added, then you’ll see confirmation message. “Project data is
valid”.
5. Now you can click Save button from the top Project ribbon bar to save project.
Import from SharePoint
This option allows you to import your SharePoint site Collection by connecting your server.
1. On hover of the Import from SharePoint option, the system highlights the icon as
indication of the option being selected.
2. Click Import from SharePoint.
3. You’ll see Import SharePoint Site Collection Pop-up screen.
4. Provide required information and click “Connect” button to connect to server.
5. Once you are connected to server click “Import” button. (You may click Cancel
button to cancel
6. Site Collection is imported successfully.
Publish Application
Publish application option allows you to publish your project. If your project is publish, that
can be accessible for any user who has given rights by administrator.

1. On hover of the Publish Application option, the system highlights the icon as
indication of the option being selected.
2. Click Publish Application from SharePoint.
3. You’ll see Import SharePoint Site Collection Pop-up screen.
Cut
Click the object you would like to cut, Click Cut from view to cut the objects from the
canvas.
Use can also cut the object by right clicking over the object. In right click options, mouse
hover on edit and you’ll see cut option.
Copy
Click the object you would like to copy. Click Copy from view to copy the objects from the
canvas.
Use can also copy the object by right clicking to the object. In right click options, mouse
hover on edit and you’ll see copy option.
Undo
Click Undo, it eareses the last change done to the project reverting it to an older project.
Version History
Click Version History under Edit tab. you’ll see all the projects version pop-up screen.

Discard Changes
Click Discard Charges, you’ll see the notification message (Are you sure you want to
discard the project changes you made?).

Manage My Toolbox
Click Manage My Toolbox, you’ll see Manage My Toolbox screen. Here user can edit or
delete toolbox.
Search
Click Search, you’ll see Search Canvas popup. By entering the keywords user can search the
object in the canvas.
Snapshot
Click Snapshot, you’ll see Snapshot has been taken and downloaded. User can easily view
them.
Share
Click Share, you’ll see share project screen. In share project screen you’ll add users and
assign them to permissions.

Export
Click Export, On the top right you’ll see notification.
Import
Click Import, you’ll see Select a File to Import popup. In this popup user will select file and
click Open button.

Client Registration
Click Client Registration, On the new tab you’ll see Manage Users screen.
Website
Click Website, website objects are shown and the other toolbox are scroll down. User can
drag objects into the canvas.
List & Libraries
Click List & Libraries, list & libraries objects are shown and the other toolbox are scroll
down. User can drag objects into the canvas.
Content Types
Click Content Types, content types objects are shown and the other toolbox are scroll
down. User can drag objects into the canvas.
WebParts
Click WebParts, webparts objects are shown and the other toolbox are scroll down. User
can drag objects into the canvas.
Security
Click Security, security objects are shown and the other toolbox are scroll down. User can
drag objects into the canvas.

Create App Catalog site
To Create an App Catalog site collection for a web application.
Verify that the user account that is performing this procedure is a member of the Farm
administrators group.
1. In Central Administration, select Application Management from left menu,
click Manage web applications.
2. Select Web application SharePoint - 80
3. In create site collection page, fill all the information and click OK button.

List of Create Site Collection
Title and Description
Type a Title and Description for the site collection.
Website Address
Select a URL from dropdown list and then type a URL name for the site collection.
Template Selection
Select Experience Version from dropdown list for the site collection.
Under select a template lable, there are 4 tabs Collaboration, Enterprise,
Publishing, Custom, select Publishing tab and then select Product Catalog for
the collection site.
Primary Site
Collection
Aministrator
Type primary User Name for the site collection.
Secondary Site
Collection
Aministrator
Type secondary User Name for the site collection.
Quota Template
Select Quota Template from dropdown list for the site collection.
Create a Developer Site
1. Sign in to Office 365 as a Global or SharePoint Online admin.
You must sign in as a Global or SharePoint Online admin to create new site
collections, such as a Developer Site. Only admins can see Admin options when signing
into Office 365. If you’re not an admin, contact an admin in your company and have them
do one of the following:
o Grant you admin rights, so you can create the Developer Site yourself.
o Create the Developer Site for you, and specify you as an admin for the site collection.
2. Click the App Launcher button on the far left of the navigation bar at top.
3. Click the Admin tile.
4. In the navigation tree on the left, expand Admin, and select SharePoint.
5. In the SharePoint admin center, select Site Collections from left menu, click New and
select Private Site Collection from droplist.

6. In new site collection page, fill all the information and click OK button.

List of Site Collection
Title
The name you want to give your Developer Site.
Public Website
Address list
A domain name and a URL path—either /sites/ or /teams/—and
then type a URL name for the site collection.
Select a language list
in theTemplate
Selection section
A primary language to use for your Developer Site.
Be sure to select the appropriate language for the Developer
Site site collection, because once you choose it, it can’t be
changed.
Selecting a language for your Developer Site does not affect the
languages you can make available in your Office and
SharePoint Add-ins.
You can enable the SharePoint multiple language interface on
your sites, but the primary language for the site collection is the
one you choose here.

Time Zone
Time zone that’s appropriate for the locale of your Developer
Site.
Administrator
The user name of your site collection administrator.
Storage Quota
Number of megabytes (MB) you want to allocate to this
Developer Site site collection.
Server Resource
Quota
The amount of resources to allocate to the site collection. This
number is a combination of performance metrics (such as processor
time and unhandled exceptions) that pertain to code in sandboxed
solutions. When the level exceeds a daily quota, the sandbox is
turned off for this site collection.
Install App to Office 365:
1. Select Home from left menu.
2. To add new app click on the new app to Deploy link.
3. In order to select new app package, click upload link.

5. Select one app package file, and click on the Open button.
