Page 1 of 5 Specifically Responsibilities will be as follows 1. To assist the Live Well, Learn Well Activity Officer to deliver sessions and programmes to inactive students. 2. To be an active team member as part of the wider college Student Services structure prioritising the Tackling Inactivity Project outcomes 3. To carry out effective liaison with internal and external partners to broaden and diversify the offer to students 4. To assist with the administration of the project and ensure data collection and recording is up to date, accurate and timely. 5. Assist in presenting information to groups and at team meetings to communicate the target groups and ethos of the project across college 6. To assist in the setting up of equipment and the logistics related to delivering sessions including room booking, meet and greeting external coaches and deliverers and troubleshooting if issues arise 7. To hold engagement events on the college street to promote the Tackling Inactivity project and get feedback from students on what they would want to see delivered 8. To make effective links with the Student Union, Advantage Programme, Wellbeing team and other pastoral teams and cross college functions that could enhance or be enhanced by the project 9. To become a dedicated Health Champion for the college through our Extra Life strategy and attend associated training and college events. 10. To assist in the use of social media and digital technology to communicate the key priorities of the project and opportunities available through it, to our students 11. To show an active commitment to the College’s Equality and Diversity Policy, Quality Frameworks and Health & Safety Procedures. 12. To actively participate in Continuous Professional development including the introduction of new technologies to allow you to contribute effectively to the success of the College. 13. To carry out such other appropriate duties commensurate with your skills, knowledge and experience. 14. Within your contract, the following salient features will apply: 1. Contract type Business Support Term time only 38 weeks Fixed Term until 31st August 2019 2. Working week 18.5 hours per week 3. Holiday Not Applicable, term time only. 4. Period of Notice Two months 5. Salary Scale Business Support, Scale 3 £16,722 to £17,786 per annum Actual starting salary £6,979.95 – £7,424.07 6. Pension Employees are eligible to join the Local Government pension scheme. Employees contribution is 5.5% of salary, further information will be provided on appointment to the post 7.
