PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
Chris established McKenzie Group Planning (NSW) Pty Ltd in September 2010 before he rebranded the
business to Willowtree Planning Pty Ltd in 2015. Chris is the Managing Director of Willowtree Planning
and is responsible for the management of the planning businesses technical operations in NSW, VIC
and QLD. Chris has over 15 years experience in the Private and Public sectors as a Town Planner. Chris
operated in the capacity of the private sector in Queensland in the early 2000’s before moving to NSW
in 2003 to work in public and private sectors. Chris has worked in a range of different roles including,
Special Projects Planner, Senior Planner, Team Leader, Manager, Director and as an Expert Witness in
the NSW Land & Environment Court and the Victorian Civil and Administration Tribunal (VCAT) and has
experience in a diverse range of projects including a variety of State Significant Developments in NSW,
Health Care, Residential, Mixed Use, Industrial, Commercial, Retail, Aged Care and Education
developments.
