International drug cartel busted.
1.017 Kgs of fine quality Heroin recovered.
1 Nigerian arrested.
A team of Special Cell led by Inspector Devendra Singh and Insp Satender
Sangwan under the supervision of Sh. L.N.Rao, ACP has busted an international drug
cartel. One member of the gang, a Nigerian national, has been arrested. 1.017 Kgs of fine
quality of Heroin
worth over more than one crore has been recovered from his
possession. The trail of drug cartel starts from Afghanistan from wherein enters into India
for further distribution.
An information was received in the Special Cell that a drug cartel is involved
in supply of drugs for international market. They supply drugs to Delhi based drug
traffickers who inturn supply drugs to different countries. They use
Delhi as their
transit point. Sources were deployed and both human and manual surveillance was
mounted to develop this information and apprehend the drug traffickers. On 22.09.2009
specific information was received that a consignment of drug would exchange hands near
NBCC Building, Lodhi Road. A trap was laid and one person namely Banzi Babatunde
r/o Lagos,Nigeria was apprehended and 1.017 Kgs of fine quality of Heroin was
recovered from his possession. A case under the appropriate sections of law was
registered at PS Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi.
Banzi Babatunde was subjected to sustained interrogation wherein he revealed he
came to India in 2006 on tourist Visa and since then he is staying in Delhi even after the
expiry of the VISA. He receives supply of consignment of drugs from a Afghani person
and sends it to various countries. Efforts are also being made to identify the others
involved in this network.

A team of officers of Special Cell led by Inspr. Attar Singh & Inspr. Uppender
Solanki have arrested a notorious , desperate criminal Najbul @ Jaimul Hassan @ R/o
New Jaffarabad, Delhi. He is involved in five cases of murder, attempt to murder,
hurt and Arms Act pertaining to Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
On 22-09-2009, an input was received by S.I. Bhushan Azad of Special Cell that
Najbul would come near Reliance Fresh Shop. A trap was laid and about 1:30 pm
he was spotted there and apprehended. One Country Made Pistol & two live
cartridges were recovered from his possession. A case under Arms Act was registered
at PS Special Cell, Lodhi Colony, New Delhi.
Najbul Hassan was subjected to sustained interrogation wherein he disclosed that
in order to earn quick money he started snatching chains on motorcycle. On 08-022008, he alongwith Nasir and Kamil stabbed one Raja to death in broad day light in
Seelampur as Raja had enmity with Nasir and Kamil. On 17-12-2008, he alongwith
Ali Hassan and Jeeshan stabbed one Moshin a trivial issue. The very next day he
alongwith Jeeshan and Ali Hassan again stabbed Imran in Seelampur Area as they
suspected him to be police informer. In the month of March, 2009 he was arrested by
Police. But after two months he managed to escaped from the jail.
On 09-09-2009 Najbul Hassan alongwith Salim, Ali Hassan and Rohat threatened
one Irshad @ Guddu R/o Seelampur and fired at him but Irshad managed to escape
unhurt . A case vide case FIR No. 348/09 U/s 336/506/34 IPC, was registered at PS-
Seelampur. In the month of September, 2009 he alongwith Saleem and Nadir were
going to Meerut to commit a robbery when the trio were intercepted by Shahibabad
Police. They fired at the Police team, Saleem & Nadir were apprehended at the spot
and two country made weapon alongwith live cartridges were recovered from their
possession while Najbul Hassan managed to escape from spot. A case vide case FIR
No. 1917/09 U/s 186/353/307/34 IPC and 27 Arms Act was registered
at PS-
Shahibabad.

CLOSE ASSOCIATE/ REWARDED SHARP SHOOTER OF ‘RAWANA’ GANG
HELD
INTRODUCTION:
With the arrest of Puneet Kumar, aged 25 years s/o Daya Nand R/o
H.No. 93 village Pooth Kalan Delhi, at M2K PVR Cinema Rohini Delhi, the
Special Staff of Outer District has been able to nab the close associate/sharp
shooter, a member of “Ravana” gang who was involved in the murder of Sh.
Vinod Kumar Goel, President of Traders Association, Dadri UP reported on 31th
august 2009 in Dadri area. An automatic Italian pistol 7.65 bore with two live
cartridges and a stolen motor cycle recovered from his possession.
INCIDENT:
During the last three months, the gang of “Ravana” had unleashed a
reign of terror in Gautam Budh Nagar area. The terror was further increased
when the criminals gunned down Sh.Vinod Kumar Goel, the President of Dadri
Traders Association in broad day light when he raised the voice against the
regular demand of extortion of money from the business community by the
Narender Bhatti @ Nandu @”Ravana” (s/o Chattar Singh R/o village Nangla
Nain Sukh, PS Dadri Gautam Budh Nagar UP) gang. A case FIR No, 497 dated
31th August 2009 u/s 147,148,149,307,302,120B IPC was registered at Police
Station Dadri Gautam Bugh Nagar UP was registered . Recently, the gang
leader “RAVANA” was arrested by the south district police and it was revealed
that one Puneet Kumar resident of Pooth Kalan Delhi was also involved in the
murder of Sh.Vinod Kumar Goel and he is the active member of the gang. He
was having a white colour Hyundai accent car which was used while
committing the murder of Sh.Vinod Kumar Goel in Dadri. A reward has also
been declared by the UP Police for his arrest in the above said case.
TEAM & ARREST:
A team of Special staff outer District comprising SI Puran Pant, SI
Deepak Malik, SI Jagmohinder Singh, HC Naresh Kumar, HC Surender Singh,
Ct. Manish Kumar, Ct. Parveen Kumar Ct. Narender Kumar led by inspector
Sukhwinder Singh under the supervision of Sh Om Prakash ACP/operations
outer District was formed. Sources were deployed to collect the intelligence
about the movement of Puneet Kumar in the area of outer district. It was
revealed that the members of this gang are not using any mobile numbers to
avoid the police dragnet. They would visit to their contacts with the element of
surprise. The movements of Puneet Kumar had been seen in the area of Rohini
as he is the resident of Pooth Kalan Delhi. On 22.09.2009, SI Puran Pant
received a specific information from a secret source that Puneet Kumar would
visit near M2K PVR Cinema Rohini on a pulsar motor Cycle. On receipt of this
information, immediately a trap was laid near the PVR Cinema. At about 07.15
PM, the team members signaled the motorbike borne desperado to stop but
sensing the police dragnet; the desperado threw his bike and opened fire on
the police party. In order to save their life, the police party acted swiftly and
also retaliated fire from the service weapon and overpowered him with the
loaded pistol by taking the risk of their lives. It was revealed that the bike on
which the desperado was riding is stolen from the area of PS Vijay Vihar Delhi.
A case FIR No. 507 dated 22.09.2009 under section 186,353,307, 411 IPC
read with 25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Rohini Delhi and the
investigations has been taken up.
INTERROGATION:
On sustained interrogation, Puneet Kumar has revealed that he started
his criminal career in the year of 2005, he started stealing the bikes from the
area of Rohini and he was arrested in three cases relating to motor vehicle
theft. Then he entered in the business of cable network and came into contact
of one Umesh resident of Loni UP, who is also an active member of this gang.
He persuaded him to join the “Ravana” gang to earn quick and huge money.
He started extorting money from the business men of Dadri with the other
members of “Ravana” gang. He further stated that he was born on 15.7.1984,
Educated upto12th class from CBSE, After 12th he has his Indica car which he used as
taxi in call centre Daksh IBM Gurgaon. Later on, he entered into the property and
finance business. During those times he came into contact with one Umesh r/o Loni
U.P, a member of Ravana gang. Umesh persuaded him to enter in the extortion of
money from the businessmen in Dadri U.P. under the shadow of Narender
Bhatti@Ravana. They were using office namely Jai Mata Cable Associate, Bhagya
Vihar, Rani Khera to carry out their nefarious activities

COUPLE INVOLVED IN CHEATING –
ARRESTED FROM VADODRA (GUJRAT )
With the arrest of Rabendra Jha and his wife Kum Kum Jha, Police
officials of PS Amar Colony, South-East District has bust a gang of cheats
involved in cheating of innocent victims on the pretext of selling their
property to various persons.
In the month of June 2009, two complaints were received in PS
Amar Colony alleging therein that one Kum Kum Jha and her husband
Rabendra Jha have sold out their property at Amar Colony New Delhi first
to one Arvinder Singh of Vikram Vihar against a consideration of Rs. 67
lacs but later Mr. Arvinder Singh came to know that this property was
already under lien with ICICI Home Finance Company, Green Park and
original papers were in the custody of bank. As per second complaint, the
alleged persons made an agreement to sell off the same property with
complainant Shri Harish Kumar and took Rs. 30 lacs from him. The
property was in the name of accused Kum Kum Jha. On this, case vide
FIR Nos. 372/09 & 402/09 were registered at PS. Amar Colony and
investigation taken up.
MODUS OPERANDI:- The accused used to sell out their property to the
innocent persons which was already under lien with ICICI Home Finance
and after taking a full payment they made a registry in his name.
Rabendra Jha remained witness in the deal. After selling their property
accused Rabendra Jha also made a rent agreement of 11 months with the
complainant Shri Arvinder Singh of the same property and remained in
possession of the said house. Thereafter the alleged persons prepared
forged documents of the said house and offered the same property for sale.
The second complainant Shri Harish Kumar met them and the alleged
persons offered their house for sale without informing that this house is
already sold to Shri Arvinder Singh and the original documents are
pledged with ICICI Home Finance. The deal was financed in Rs, 59.75 lacs
and the alleged persons took Rs. 30 lacs cash as advance money and fled
with their family. Later the second complainant came to know that the
said property has also been sold to one Shri Arvinder Singh and registry
was also made in his favour of the same property. It was further found
that the property documents of a house at Amar Colony, which was
handed over to complainant Harish Kumar, was also found to be forged.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED:- The accused Rabendra Jha completed his
doctorate in Pol. Science (Gandhian thoughts) from Bhagalpur Bihar and
shifted to Delhi. Initially he did jobs in various schools and later he
opened 3 Cyber Cafés in the area of PS Amar Colony. He also started his
tuition centre in Amar Colony.
Smt. Kum Kum Jha was handling the
Cyber Café.
The accused fearing his arrest frequently shifted their residences
till they were finally arrested on 18.09.2009 by a team led by Inspector
Manoj Kumar, HC Ramesh Sharma, Ct. Roshan L/Ct. Pooja from Vadodra.
During investigation Rs. 4.5 lacs were recovered from their house which
was seized. They also purchased a new flat in Sunrise Society, Sun City
Opp. Jai Ambe High School, Manjhal Pur Vadodra Gujrat. The several
bank accounts of accused person/company have been frozen.

CHEATERS ARRESTED: DUPED MOBILE COMPANIES OF MORE
THAN 75 LACS RUPEE THROUGH OVERSEAS CALLS (ISDs) ON
INTERNATIONAL PREMIUM NUMBERS
Special Staff/ East has arrested two persons whose profession was to
procure Post Paid SIMs on fake identity and to call International Premium
Numbers of Bulgaria, England, Romania, Switzerland, Zimbabwe, Sierra
Leone etc. The arrested persons are:
1. Mohd. Rizwan s/o Sultan Khan r/o A-14, Gharoli Dairy Farm, Mayur
Vihar Phase 3, Delhi.
2. Varun Kumar s/o Durga Prasad Kunwar r/o Flat No. 87 A, Nyay
Khand 3, Indirapuram, Uttar Pradesh.
Gist of Complaint:
A leading mobile company Vodafone complained in
August 2009 that their Post Paid SIMs were being procured through
Fake identity/ through SIM Exchange/ Lost SIM Reactivation by some
persons and were cheating by making International Calls amounting to
70 lacs rupee. Acc. to their complaint there were more than 200 such
Post Paid SIMs which have been misused. On this complaint a Case FIR
No. 375/09 u/s 419/420/468/471/120 B IPC was registered in PS New
Ashok Nagar, Delhi on 12/09/09.
Investigation:
The case was registered and investigation was conducted by
SI Vinay Yadav of Special Staff/ East. A team of Special Staff/ East
comprising of SI Vinay Yadav, ASI Manoj Kumar, HC Manoj Kumar, Ct.
Shyam Singh, Ct. Praveen and Ct. Lokender under supervision of Insp.
Rajesh Kumar I/C Spl. Staff/ East was formed to locate these cheaters. The
mobile company was asked about the status of dialed International
Numbers as whenever the Investigating Team tried to dial on these
International Numbers the call could not be connected. The mobile
company tried to contact in those countries but the status of these
numbers could not be ascertained. Technical Surveillance was kept on
all around 70 mobile phones on which Fake Post paid SIMs were used.
After scrutiny of one month two persons were identified and secret
watch was kept on their movements. On Dt. 17/09/09 Mohd. Rizwan was
arrested from Gharoli Dairy Farm and taken on remand and on
21/09/09 Varun Kumar was arrested from Indirapuram .
Modus Operandi:
Both the accused disclosed that they have been
committing cheating with this modus operandi for quite some time.
Both have worked in Vodafone, Idea and other cellular companies in
Sales and Verification Deptt. They have the idea how fake SIMs could
be procured. During January they came in touch with a person namely
Malik who is a resident of Chennai. Malik came back from Dubai and
told some persons to call on International Premium Numbers of various
countries which are managed by one Noor Aziz and his son Umar Aziz
based in Saudi Arabia. He told that if they call on such International
Premium Numbers they will get Rs. 2-3 /minute for such calls. The only
work done in India is to procure Post Paid SIMs to call such numbers. The
arrested accused persons along with their associates managed to
procure Post Paid SIMs through Fake identity. They choose a day when
around 4-5 SIMs have been procured and give these numbers to Noor
Aziz in Saubi who kept a record of these numbers and told them to call
on selective International Numbers of which the list had already been
supplied by Noor to accused persons through e-mail IDs.
The accused persons sit through the whole night and
continuously make calls on the said numbers. During such calls there is no
conversation made and the international premium numbers only gave a
recorded message such as “access code 4868” which meant that the call was
connected. This is basically a “Call duration based cheating” the more
duration of the call, the more money they get as commission. Hence the
accused persons continuously make conference calls from one SIM
generating a billing amount running into Lacs of rupees. The money
generated through this was shared by the International Service Provider to
the agency managing the premium numbers overseas like for example the
friendship club based aboard. Noor Azid had a tie up with the friendship
clubs. A portion of the money he received from the International Service
Provider was given as commission to the caller in India. The accused
persons were either paid through Hawala by Noor or was transferred to their
Bank Accounts. Of late when the company realized this fraud they made a
change in their servers that whenever an international conference call was
made, the mobile number was automatically disconnected. But the accused
persons were having a thorough knowledge about this and started calling
from Roaming numbers which was again a problem. The accused persons
have committed fraud with Vodafone, Idea Cellular, Airtel, Reliance etc.
This unique modus operandi is busted for the first time by the East Distt
Police. They did not need any customer to do ISD Calls, they didn’t have to
make conversation and were getting money for just calling those numbers.
Efforts are being made to apprehend all the persons involved in this fraud.

MURDER CASE OF POLICE STATION NEB SARAI SOLVED WITH THE
ARREST OF FIVE ACCUSED INCLUDING WIFE AND SISTER-IN- LAW OF

South District Police has solved the sensational murder case of a property dealer
Dalveer, which took place at village Khanpur in the area of Police Station Neb Sarai and

INCIDENT AND TEAM:On 18.09.09, upon receipt of information about murder at 154 Khanpur, New
Delhi local police reached the spot and found that the PCR van had already taken the
injured Dalbir Yadav s/o Ram Kishan Yadav r/o House No. 154 Khanpur, New Delhi to
hospital where the victim was pronounced brought dead by the doctors. The whole house
was found to be ransacked and in a mess. The statement of the brother of deceased
was recorded and local enquiries revealed that in the morning of 18.09.09 about
four people entered the said house and attacked Dalbir Yadav and ransacked the
whole house. A case of murder was registered vide FIR No. 231 u/s 302/34 IPC
dated 18.09.09 was registered at Police Station Neb Sarai and investigation taken
up.
A special team lead by Insp. Kulbir Singh, SHO/Police Station Neb Sarai,
Inspr./ATO Ram Singh, Insp/Investigation Vijay Singh, SIs Hira Lal, Rajender Kumar,
HCs Ajeet, Satish, Constables Suresh, Bijender , Ravi and Lady Constable Ratna Bai,
was constituted under the supervision of ACP/Mehrauli Sh. Bhisham Singh and
investigation taken up.
INVESTIGATION AND ARREST:During the course of investigation sources were deployed in and around the area.
Local enquiries revealed that the deceased Dalbir Singh was living with his second wife
in the said house. The relations between them were strained. There were frequent fights
between them. Reena Yadav w/o Dalbir Yadav used to leave and return to her house at
her own will. Sometimes she used to stay away from her home for days together. Ms.
Reena Yadav was missing from her house for the past 15 days. When Reena Yadav did
not return home even after the death of her husband, suspicion regarding her involvement
in the crime was raised and efforts were made to trace her out. Upon receipt of secret
information from a reliable source Reena Yadav was traced living with her divorced
sister Meena and her driver/helper Praveen @ Rajesh in the area of Jangpura. She was
apprehended and interrogated at length. On interrogation Reena Yadav stated that , a few
days back after the quarrel with her husband she had come to live with her younger
sister Meena, where she narrated her tale of woe before Meena and her driver Praveen @
Rajesh, who is a drug addict. She further sought his help and informed that recently
Dalbir has sold his plao at Sainik Farms for a sum of Rs. five crores and the money is
kept in the house. It was learnt that Dalbir Yadav had not given due share to his wife
Rina out of the sale proceeds of the plot. Owing to which she was frustrated and
disgusted. Keeping this in mind that she would not let Dalbir enjoy all by himself she
took the help of Praveen @ Rajesh who was also found to be having an affair with
Meena (younger sister of Reena Yadav). The fact that huge amount is kept in the house
of Dalveer inspired Praveen @ Rajesh to help Reena Yadav in eliminating and robbing
Dalbir and in return he was promised a sum of two crore rupees by Reena. Praveen
contacted his friend Deepak who further contacted his friends Karan and Kishan.
Reena Yadav conspired along with her younger sister Meena, Praveen @
Rajesh(live-in-relationship partner of Meena), Deepak(Rajesh’s friend ), Krishna and
Karan (Deepak’s friends) to get her husband eliminated. She had promised a sum of Rs
2 crores for the said purpose to Praveen and his associates. In this way all the four
accused Praveen, Deepak, Karan, and Kishan with the sponsorship and full support of
Reena and Meena went to H.No. 154 Khanpur and murdered Dalbir and ransacked the
whole house in search Rs 5 crore. Eventually the five accused as mentioned above were
arrested through raids conducted at various places in NCT Delhi. One accused Kishan is
still absconding.
PROFILE
Reena Yadav is the second wife of deceased Dalbir Yadav. She had married
Dalbir in 1994 and has two children. She had been having sour relationship with her
husband and has been filing complaints against her husband. Meena is the younger sister
of Reena Yadav. She is divorced and is presently living with her driver/ helper Praveen
@Rajesh, who is also having a live-in-relationship with Meena.
Deepak @ Deepu is a drug addict involved in cases of snatching and pick
pocketing and who has already served a 5 year sentence. Karan is a Tamilian and a
vagabond who indulges in pick pocketing. He has studied up to 9th class in St.Paul
School, Nainital. Praveen @Rajesh is also a drug addict who has a live-in-relationship
with Meena. He was previously a driver with the family of Meena.
Further investigation is in progress and efforts are afoot to arrest the absconding
accused Kishan Kumar and to recover the robbed articles/weapon of offence. The team
members are being rewarded suitably.

BLIND CASE OF MURDER IN VIKASPURI PARK SOLVED
Staff of Police Station Vikas Puri has worked out the sensational murder of
businessman Sandeep Jain S/o Mahesh Jain R/o A1/110, Hastsal Road, Uttam Nagar.
Three accused persons have been arrested and one juvenile has been apprehended.
RECOVERY MADE:
1. One knife used by the accused to stab the deceased.
2. Iron rod used by the accused to assault the deceased.
3. One mobile phone.

INCIDENT AND TEAM
On 20-9-09 at 5-30 AM, a PCR call regarding lying of a dead body in ‘F’
block Distt. park near Cicelia Public School, Vikaspuri was received at PS Vikas Puri.
Police Officers rushed to the spot and found that a male dead body aged about 35-36
years was lying in the pool of blood in ‘F’ Block Distt. Park near Cicelia Public School
Vikaspuri. There were multiple external injuries over the neck and head of the deceased.
Some papers and other articles belonging to deceased Sandeep Jain S/o Mahesh Jain R/o
A-1/110, Hastsal Road, Uttam Nagar were also found lying near the dead body and the
dead body was identified by Atul Jain S/o Mahesh Jain (younger brother of deceased
Sandeep Jain ). Consequently, a case vide FIR No. 267/09, dated 20-9-09 u/s 302-IPC
was registered at Police Station Vikaspuri and investigation were taken up by Inspr.
Anand lakra, SHO-Vikaspuri.
A team under the supervision of Inspr. Anand Lakra, SHO-Vikaspuri, SI
Dharampal, ASI Jai Singh, ASI Rajender, HC Naresh Kumar, 1721-W, HC Subhash No.
686/W and Ct. Suresh No. 1941/W was formed to investigate and get the clue about the
accused person (s) and work out the case. During the course of investigation, friends and
relatives of the deceased Sandeep Jain were interrogated. The case was investigated from
the Monetary/Property Dispute angle also. During investigation, it was revealed that of
late one girl was trying befriend the deceased. Sources were deployed to get the identiey
of this girl. However, information was received from secret sources that Sh. Atul Jain,
brother of the deceased along with one friend Rajat was seen in PVR parking area. On
sustain interrogation, Rajat disclosed that there was one more friend of Atul namely,
Rajesh Chauhan @ Ashoo of Kheda Kalan was present there. ASI Jai Singh along with
the staff was deployed in Village Khera Kalan, Outer Distt.,Delhi to find out the
whereabout of Rajesh Chauhan. On the basis of the information and intelligence input
developed by ASI Jai Singh he was able to apprehend and arrest Rajesh Chauhan @
Ashoo S/o Rajender. This suspect was subjected to through interrogation who revealed
that he along with other associates has committed this crime at the instance of Atul Jain.
Subsequently, accused person Kuldeep S/o Dharmender R/o Village Khera Kalan, New
Delhi was arrested. One more juvenile was apprehended from the same village.
INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI:
During interrogation of accused person it is revealed that Atul Jain was
presently working as driver in a Taxi. His financial condition was not good and was still
unmarried. Whereas the deceased Sandeep Jain was running a sweet shop having good
source of income and was staying comfortably at the ground floor of the house. Atul Jain
along with Rajesh Chauhan hatched the conspiracy to eliminate his brother so that he will
get the shop as well as the portion of the ground floor of the house and thus can lead a
comfortable life. It is very interesting to note that one of accused namely, Rajesh
Chauhan @ Ashoo was able to mimick the voice of a female. Hence, he pretended
himself to be a college girl and started making contacting to the deceased for becoming
friend. On the day of incident, accused lured deceased to meet her at District Park
‘F’block Vikas Puri. Atul Jain had already given all the information about his brother so
that accused can easily identify him. On the day of incident when the deceased arrived in
the park, accused Rajesh Chauahan along with other three other associates, as per plan,
assaulted the deceased with iron rod and knife. They casused multiple injuries to the
deceased and left the place after taking his ring, mobile phones and money. They wanted
it to be a case of robbery so that police is misguided and could not catch them.
Further investigation in the case is in progress and staff involved in good work is
being rewarded suitably

MURDER CASE SOLVED : TWO ARRESTED
With the arrest of Shamim @ Jhojha s/o khurshid R/o K-81 Janta colony welcome and
Sanu s/o Khurshid R/o K- 81 Janta colony Welcome Delhi. North East district has solved another
murder case of Yusuf s/o Babu R/o B-399 Janta colony Welcome Delhi. Weapon of offence have
been recovered at his instance.
INCIDENT :- On 22/09/09 at about 8.12PM an information was received at P.S Welcome Delhi
that one person have been stabbed and the injured was taken to GTB Hospital. ASI Jalbir singh
reached near Pilli Mitti where Insp.R.K.JHA also met him while patrolling in the area. No
eyewitness was found at the spot and the injured was declared brought dead by the doctor at
GTB Hospital on MLC No B 4428/09.
TEAM :- A team consisting of Insp.R.K Jha SHO Welcome, Insp. Surinder Singh Duggal
ATO/PS Welcome,Insp. Ramdhan Singh,ASI Jalbir Singh,ASI Brijpal Singh,HC Umesh,Ct
Jogender,Ct Abdul Ahad,Ct Ombir,Ct Amarpal was constituted under the close supervision of
Shri D.V. Joshi ACP/Shahdra/North East Distt.
INVESTIGATION :- Initially, there was no clue about the suspects in this case. Three police
teams were formed to solve the crime. Extensive local inquiries were made by the police teams to
extract any clue about the murder.
During the course of investigation,the Deceased was identified as Yusuf s/o Babu was a
BC of the area and habitual drug Addict. He had an argument with Sanu s/o Khurshid R/o K-81,
Janta colony Delhi on a petty matter of drinking lemonade from a vendor first. Yusuf s/o Babu
inflicted injury by blade on Sanu's chest. Sanu left the spot and came back after some time along
with his brother Shamim@Jhojha who is also a BC and Rahat s/o Nanhe R/o C-449,gali no 8
Janta colony Welcome Delhi. Rahat caught hold the hands of Yusuf s/o Babu and instigated
Shamim to kill yusuf. On this Shamim@Jhojha pulled out a knife and stabbed Yusuf on his chest
and Sanu kicked Yusuf. Yusuf fell down on the road. Asif s/o Babu brother of Yusuf who was
present at the spot shouted for help ,On this several people started gathering there and the accused
persons ran away from the spot.
Several raids were conducted at various places to trace accused persons. On
22.9.09 at about 9.30PM a secret information was received that Sanu s/o Khurshid is present in
janta colony Welcome. On receipt of this information a raid was conducted and the accused Sanu
apprehended by the police party and taken to GTB Hospital for medical aid as he was having
injury on his chest. At 11.18 PM an information was received at PS Welcome that one person
who is involved in the murder is being beaten by the public while the team of police was also
nearby in search of Shamim and Raahat , On this ASI Brijpal and Ct Amarpal took
Shamim@Jhojha to GTB Hospital for medical aid.
After medical treatment Sanu was questioned to ascertain his involvement in murder of
Yusuf s/o Babu. But he initially did not confess and shown his complete ignorance about the
incident. But on sustained interrogation, he broke down and confessed of having involvement in
the said incident. He further disclosed that he just wanted to teach a lesson to the deceased but he
resisted and inflicted injury to him and just to threaten him he called his brother Shamim and
Rahat,who stabbed Yusuf s/o Babu.
Shamim@Jhojha was also interrogated after medical treatment who also confessed of
stabbing Yusuf s/o Babu along with Sanu and Rahat. On his instance weapon of offence was also
recovered.

SENSATIONAL DOUBLE MURDER CASE OF SR. CITIZENS
SOLVEDSON-IN-LAW ARRESTED
With the arrest of one Wakil aged 24 years r/o Mehrauli, Sangam
Vihar police of South-East District has solved a sensational double
murder case of senior citizens.
On 22.09.09 at about 05.40 PM, a PCR call regarding stabbing in a
house inangam Vihar was received when police reached the spot, they
found blood stains in a room. The injured Abdul Hamid aged 62 years
and his wife Smt. Amina aged 45 years r/o Sangam Vihar had already
been sent to Trauma Centre where they died of stab injuries.
The daughter of Shihita who had witnessed the incident informed
that she had a minor quarrel with her husband on Eid on 21.9.09 over
the issue of new clothes. The quarrl was resolved on that day but aain on
22.9.09 another quarrel took place and she returned to her parental
house in Sangam Vihar at about 3 PM. About two hours later her
husband Wakil Saifi came on M/cycle to their residence in Sangam Vihar
and stabbed her father with a knife. When her mother tried to intervene
she was also stabbed. He then ran away with the knife. Enquiries made
from the neighbours of the accused revealed that he had gone to some
hospital with his relatives. On checking from the hospital in the area, it
was found that he had gone to Safdarjung Hospital and was trying to get
himself admitted there. However, he was discharged after some first aid
and arrested in this case.
On this a FIR No. 349 dated 22.9.09 u/s 302 IPC PS Sangam Vihar
was registered and a team consisting of SHO Sangam Vihar and staff of
PS Sangam Vihar under the supervision of ACP Okhla was constituted.
The accused is a 5th class drop out and carpenter by profession. He
is a resident of PS Mehrauli. He is not involved in any previous crime.
Further investigation is on.

GANG OF PICK POCKETS BUSTED- 32 MOBILE PHONES
RECOVERED
With the arrest of three accused persons namely (1) Vijay Kumar
age 22 years (2) Deepak @ Dharmender age 21 years and (3) Sunil age 22
years, all r/o Gautampuri Phase-II, Badarpur, New Delhi, local police of
PS Badarpur, South East District has bust a gang of Pick-Pocketers and
recovered 32 mobile phones from their possession.
On 22.09.09 complainant Vijay Kumar r/o Distt. Mau, UP aged
reported that he was travelling in bus Route No. 8 from Badarpur to
Noida when the bus reached near M.B. Road red light point he found
that his mobile was missing from his pocket. He suspected one boy who
was standing very close to him in the bus and when he accosted the boy
about his mobile, the boy tried to get down from the front gate of bus. He
raised alarm and with help of public caught hold him. In the meantime
another passenger namely Mohit informed that his mobile phone is also
missing. On searching Vijay Kumar, two mobiles phones were recovered.
Hence a case FIR No. 328/09 dated 21.09.09 u/s 379/411 IPC was
registered at PS Badarpur and accused Vijay Kumar was arrested.
On investigation he disclosed that two more associates namely
Deepak and Sunil were also with him. A team comprising of
SHO/Badarpur Insp. V.P. Dahiya, SI Mahender Singh, PSI Kulbir Singh,
HC Harender, HC Sanjay, HC Yashpal, Ct. Mahesh Kumar, Ct. Sanjay,
Ct. Gangadharan and Ct. Rambir was constituted under the supervision
of Sh. V.S Pundhir ACP/Sarita Vihar was constituted to apprehend the
two associates of accused Vijay. On 22.09.09 both the associates of
accused Vijay Kumar have also been arrested and 30 stolen mobiles were
recovered from them.
Accused told that they used to board the bus and surround the
victims. Then they used to pretend to have been disbalance and fall
against the victim. During this time, one member would pick out mobile
from the victim’s pocket and hand over to other member. Carrier of
mobile used to get down from the bus at next stop.
Vijay Kumar was found to be involved in 4 cases, Sunil in 1 case
while Deepak is a budding criminal of the area.

MURDER CASE SOLVED – TWO ARRESTED
With the arrest of Noorudin @ Bundul, aged 20 years s/o Md Raza r/o Village
Paigula, PO Nepal Ganj, PS Vishnu Pur, Distt. South 24 Pargana, West Bengal and
Vikrant @ Chela,aged 20 years s/o Ramesh Paswan r/o Village Pakhpar, PO & PS
Barbiga, Distt. Shekh Pura, Bihar, Central District police has solved a case of murder that
took place in the area of PS IP Estate on the evening of 22.09.09. The weapon of offence
used in the commission of crime has been recovered.
INCIDENT
On 22.09.09, a call was received at PP JPN of PS IP Estate regarding a man
lying unconscious with stab injuries at Meer Dard Road near Masjid Takia Kale Khan.
On receipt of the same, the police team rushed to the spot and learnt that the injured had
been shifted to LNJP Hospital. The MLC of one Md. Waseem, aged 26 years s/o Md.
Saleem r/o C-4 A/558, Jhuggi, LNJP Colony, RS Marg, Delhi was received wherein he
was declared ‘Brought Dead’. The brother of the deceased namely Md. Nadeem stated
that he and his father had gone to Mata Sundari Road to purchase some household
articles where he saw his brother Waseem being chased by three persons namely Bundul,
Chela and Majnu. Meanwhile, Chela caught hold of Waseem whereas Bundul and Majnu
stabbed him over chest and abdomen and fled away. Waseem was rushed to LNJP
Hospital. A case of murder was registered at PS IP Estate and the investigations were
launched.
TEAM
A team consisting of Inspr. Madan Gopal SHO/IP Estate, Inspr. Naresh
Khanka, Inv/IP Estate, SI Pawan Dixit, ASI Yashpal Singh, HC Raju, HC Bijender, Ct
Parveen, Ct Tajender, Ct Ajay, Ct KiranPal and Ct Raj Singh was constituted under the
supervision of Shri Jagbir Singh, ACP/Darya Ganj, Central District, Delhi.
INVESTIGATION
The identity of the accused was already known but their whereabouts were not
known as all the three are rag pickers and residents of outside Delhi – West Bengal/Bihar.
Raids were conducted at their suspected hideouts and at around mid-night, two of the
three accused namely Noorudin @ Bundal and Vikrant @ Chela were apprehended from
Shivaji Bridge Railway Station. During their sustained interrogation, it surfaced that the
deceased had lend some money to Noorudin @ Bundul, which he was reluctant to repay
and on this issue the deceased had slapped him. On 22.09.09 also they had hot exchange
of words which irked Noorudin who alongwith Majnu (his cousin) and Chela (his friend)
with intent to teach him a lesson caused injuries which proved fatal. The knife used in
the commission of crime has been recovered at the inastance of Noorudin.
Further investigation is in progress to apprehend the remaining accused.
