Arc Flash Safety for Fire Inspectors, What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You – Martin R. Perrone
NFPA 70E contains six specific safety measures as required by OSHA to be accomplished “within a reasonable period of
time” before a business/building owner can become Arc Flash Compliant. The new final ruling of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.269 was
finalized on April 14, 2014 and became law on July 10, 2014. This informative four (4) hour program demonstrates why OSHA
considers ARC FLASH such a huge priority and provides everything Fire Marshals, Inspectors and Rescue Personnel need to know.
This program includes updates from the 2016 and 2017 legislature.
Code Compliance for Fire Rated Ducts and Enclosures – Joseph Hauf
This session engages the audience with actual examples of practical applications while breaking down the barriers that can be
created by the jargon and interplay of competing test standards. Additionally, this session walks the audience through the pitfalls
and rewards inherent in the use of these products in various real world applications by using actual product listing cards from
various products -- as if the audience were participating in the experience of vetting a product for suitability for a certain use or
