Business Development Manager
LPT Healthcare is looking for a Business Development Manager to increase new business sales and

responsibilities will include:










Developing relationships with key decision makers at major organisations to improve opportunities for
new sales and accounts.
Proactively seeking and sourcing new sales which leads to maximise LPT Healthcare potential client
base.
Establish and regularly update the sales contacts database indicating progress and contact made with
prospective clients to enable accurate tracking and audit trails.
Work to develop concise and informative tender proposals, information documents and presentations
on LPT Healthcare for potential clients
Conduct presentations to potential customers, with assistance from the Practice Manager where
required, and to keep team informed through the tender process.
Along with the Practice Manager, develop and deliver a Client Relationship Management Plan which
focuses on strategic activities to build relationships and growth.
Maintain a proactive approach to managing each client.
Continually develop an understanding of our clients, their business objectives and company direction
and identify how LPT can assist.
Assist with the development and implementation of a strategic marketing plan to ensure the LPT brand
becomes a recognised name in the market.
Implement a regular call pattern and planner to improve contact and progress to prospective clients.
What we're looking for
Your core objective will be to sell our business to personal injury industry (solicitors, Claim
management companies and other mediatory companies). This will involve sourcing leads, cold-calling
and closing sales during face-to-face meetings.
To be successful, you will need extensive experience in personal injury industry, meeting salestargets, finding and qualifying leads over the phone, and winning new contracts. In addition you'll
need a high level of business acumen and a strong academic record, including an undergraduate
degree. Finally, a passion for travel is essential.
Once you've bought a new client on board, you'll work closely with practise manager who will use her
extensive knowledge and expertise to deliver an exceptional care services to new clients.
Alongside your proven sales and account management skills, you'll have the ability to lead and drive
an event management team. Experience in events, conferences and incentive management will be an
advantage, however strong organisational, conflict resolution and negotiation skills are essential. In
addition, as you'll be involved in creating and delivering presentations and tenders, you'll need
exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage your audience.
Finally, knowledge of management software as is an understanding of all major supplier deals and
contacts.
