Congratulations! You’ve successfully completed the application to be a part of UGA Relay For Life’s 2014-2015 Executive Board. After the Board of Directors closely reviews each application and conducts interviews from April 6-10, we will select a new board. If selected for the Executive Board, the following commitments and expectations will be required: Attend meetings every Wednesday at 7PM at ACS beginning April 23, and any subsequent Family meetings and any required Logistics meetings during spring 2015 Attend Exec transitions on April 15 at 6:30PM Devote a sufficient amount of time to Executive Board responsibilities, outside of our weekly meetings Attend all UGA Relay For Life events and promotions including: Kickoff, Executive Board fundraisers/Special Events, CAC Campus Events, Team Rallies, Bank Night, and Relay For Life. We will tentatively have between 2-3 Special Event Fundraisers each semester (i.e. 5K, Date Auction, Benefit Concert) and the Board is expected to attend each of these. Attend fall 2014 and spring 2015 Executive Board retreats. Locations and dates TBA. Attend spring New Exec pictures and dinner on April 13, 2014. Photos on North Campus at 5 and dinner at 6. Be prepared to hold Committee interviews in the fall, and help choose and build a Committee that will best serve your position and goals. If your position has a Committee, you must be willing to organize and oversee their endeavors Consistently check emails, texts, phone calls and respond in a timely manner (within 24 hours) Serve weekly office hours at the Relay cubicle (or office) at the Tate CSO Refrain from smoking, using tobacco products, or using any other carcinogens Must love Relay, be passionate about finding a cure, and excited about strengthening our organization in new ways!
