2017 Golf Outings
Thank you for considering Keney Park Golf Course to host your Golf Tournament.
General Policies





Outings will be played Monday through Friday at 10:30 am and Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays
at 1:00 pm.
KPGC offers tee times for outings of less than 40 players, 40 to 99 players will be a modified
shotgun, and 100 or more players the course will be closed for a full field shotgun.
Two weeks prior to the scheduled outing we require an estimated number of guests. Seven days
prior to the event we require a guaranteed (billable) number of guests. The invoice less the
deposit is due upon completion of event.
Proper Etiquette, and Keney Park Golf Course rules regarding Dress Code, garbage on the course,
and divot and ball mark repair are expected to be followed.
All Food and Beverage arrangements must be made through Keney Park Golf Course.
Fees
Weekday Outing Fee $60 per person
Weekend and Holiday Outing Fee $65
Fee includes: 18 holes of Golf with a Golf Car, Tournament Setup (Cart Signs, Scorecards, Player’s Lists),
Player Assistance, On-Course Setup, $5 per person golf shop credit (Prizes), and Event Scoring.
Additional Amenities:



Pre-Tournament Open Driving Range (Unlimited use of range 45 min. prior), $2 per person
Food and Beverage arrangements.
Tournament Towels, Hats, Balls, Tee/Registration Gifts and Shirts. Please speak to the golf shop
regarding creative gift ideas and special pricing.
Golf Cars

Keney Park Golf Course has a fleet of 60 golf cars, which can accommodate 120 players. If your
tournament exceeds 120 players, additional golf cars will need to be rented. The cars must be
rented in blocks of 10 and the Tournament is responsible for the cost. Arrangements must be
made one week prior to the tournament date.
2017 Golf Outings
Rules and Regulations
1.
All outings must make an attempt to finish play within 4 ½ hours from your start time. Pace
of Play Policy will be enforced.
2.
In case of inclement weather, a decision will be made within two hours of the scheduled start
time of your tournament. If the course is closed due to lightning, play will be suspended and
staff will determine if play can resume that day. If the golf course is open, you are expected to
play.
3.
The outing is responsible for removal of all signage and other items on the golf course. Keney
Park Golf Course will not assume any responsibility for lost or damaged items left on the golf
course.
4.
The tournament is financially responsible for any and all damages to the golf course and golf
cars from neglect, incorrect usage, recklessness and disregard.
5.
Metal spikes are not allowed and appropriate golf attire must be worn (no cutoffs, no
sleeveless shirts).
6.
Alcoholic beverages are NOT ALLOWED on the golf course unless purchased through Keney
Park Golf Course in accordance with CT State Liquor Laws.
7.
Keney Park Golf Course will assume no responsibility for injury on the golf course.
8.
Tournament participants are expected to leave the course in the condition in which it was
found. Please fix ball marks, divots and rake bunkers.
9.
There are no extra holes or replays. An outing round is for 18 holes with a golf car. Any
participant wishing to play more golf can purchase a greens fee ticket from the golf shop.
10.
All golfers are expected to follow general golf course etiquette guidelines. Disciplinary action
may occur as a result of dangerous and irresponsible actions.
11.
All tournaments are required to pay for their tournament on the day of the event. No
exceptions.
12.
A Non-Refundable deposit of $250 along with a signed contract is required to reserve a date.
