How to convert your foreign GPA to Danish weighted GPA?
In order to be able to evaluate correctly your grades, we would like to ask you to convert your GPA to the
Danish GPA weighted system. Please go to the GPA Calculator sheet and fill in the form. You should write
your country of origin, the name of the university and the title and length of your degree.
Please specify also what is the minimum passing grade and the highest possible grade at your university in
yellow cells as below.
Please list ALL your courses and specify grades and number of credits. The Danish weighted Grade Point
Average (GPA) will appear automatically.
If you do not have credits at your university, please fill in number of credit for each subject with 1.
If you have non-graded courses, please list them under the table at the very bottom as indicated below.
Before uploading you should check if all courses are listed correctly and if GPA is calculated
correctly. Maximum Danish GPA cannot be higher than 12.
The number of credits can be checked at the bottom of document.
Please upload the filled Excel file into your online application in the field Supporting documents together
with other required documents. For more information please refer also to the Application Guide on the
DTU website.
In the application system you should write only GPA in Danish scale.
