Found out how to nominate a volunteer here

Volunteer of the Month
Guidance
Have you got a volunteer who has been particularly brilliant recently? Why not recognise
them in our new Volunteer of the Month scheme? Winners will feature on our
Celebrating Our Volunteers webpage and on CRUK’s Twitter page.
Who to nominate?
Consider the volunteers you work with - has someone made a real
impact recently?
For example by:
•Giving extra time or help to support to a project or person?
•Organising a successful fundraising or awareness initiative?
•Being super reliable and helpful?
•Being innovative and creative?
•Being a great ambassador or advocate?
•Another reason!
An example…
Here’s one we made up earlier to inspire you:
I would like to nominate Ann Smith for CRUK’s Volunteer of
the Month.
Ann has been a volunteer with Cancer Research UK since June
2013. She is a member of the Anytown Fundraising
Committee and also volunteers at Race For Life.
Ann is brilliant at spotting opportunities and coming up with
new ideas – for example, last month she organised a new
fundraising event in Anytown – a fashion show! The event
raised over £2,000 and resulted in lots of new relationships
with local retailers as well as bringing new supporters along to
the evening. A great night was had by all.
I know Ann also supported four local Race For Life events over
the summer and is particularly good a welcoming new
volunteers and showing them the ropes!
