Math Snow Day Activities
You are required to complete 2 activities a day from 2 different subjects. You can complete up to 4
assignments a day if you choose, but they must all be from different subjects.
3-5 bonus points will be added to your lowest math daily assignment for each activity completed.
The number of bonus points will be determined based on the quality of work.
Menu Problems
Using a restaurant menu,
create 4 problems and solve
each problem using your
problem solving strategies.
Create a problem on addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and
division.
Venn Diagram
Create a Venn Diagram or a
double bubble map comparing
multiplication and division. You
must include at least 12 things.
Game
Design and create a game on
addition and subtraction OR
multiplication and division.
Include the game rules,
question cards, and an answer
key. Be creative!
Multiplication Poster
Create a poster for a younger
student teaching them how to
multiply a 2-digit number. List
all the steps and include an
example.
Anchor Chart
Create an anchor chart
poster on your favorite
problem solving strategy.
Explain why it is your favorite.
Include all the steps in your
strategy and a sample problem.
Show all your work.
