Roller Coaster Fun
Analyze, graph, and share roller coaster data to learn about kinetic and potential
energy.
1. During the “Roller Coaster Fun” experiment, you and your group
recorded your data as screenshots using the Wireless sensors and iPads.
2. Log into Ms. Nichols’ BlackBoard site.
3. Click on “Discussion Board”.
4. Locate the “Roller Coaster Fun” Topic, click “Create Thread”, in the
subject box, type “Group #___, Hour___”
5. In the message box, write you and your groups summary of your data
from your conclusion of the lab.
6. Click “Browse My Computer” and upload the screenshot of you and your
group’s data, then click “Submit”.
7. Look at one other groups data set from your class and review their data.
In the comments, reply to another group’s summary and provide
feedback on comparisons between your group’s data and theirs.
MODIFICATION

5.
6.
Open Tellagami App.
Click “Create”.
Customize your person (mood, setting, etc). Spend TEN minutes ONLY on this!
Select Camera
Select Message
Record results of your roller coater; detailing positions and locations of kinetic
and potential energy and places of acceleration and deceleration, and be sure
to comment on where energy goes (law of conservation of energy).
7. Select “Share”
8. Select “Save” (the Telligami will be saved on iPAD).
9. Log into Ms. Nichols’ BlackBoard Site.
10.Click on “Discussion Board”
11.Create new thread. Title your thread: Class period; Your group #
12.Type a brief description of your bug race experience
13.Click "Browse my computer“
14.Find your Tellagami in the camera roll
15.Click submit
16.Respond to at least 1 group's Tellagami in a different class period
