SEASON 2013-14
Amigos defeated Red Hot Tomales by 10 shots, 22-12, to take out the 2013-14 premiership and complete
a flag double. Red Hot Tomales finished minor premier and comfortably accounted for Bias in the semifinal 21-4, but Amigos were coming hard after also having an easy semi-final win against Easy Rollers 2610. Easy Rollers and Bias had strong seasons only losing 2 and 4 games respectively but just did not
measure up to the Grand Finalists
At Christmas break (Round 7), Red Hot Tomales, Back Enders, Amigos and Easy Rollers made up the top
4 and amazingly Bias were in 14th spot with 3 wins, 2.5 wins behind 4th. It is history now that Bias would
win their last 4 games including a 25-6 win over Amigos in the last round to sneak into the top 4 on shot
difference ahead of Ponderosa 5 th, Back Enders 6th and Juve Boys 7th while Bonza Bowlers were one win
further back in 8th place
It was a long season caused by the closure of A green after Christmas but still successful and enjoyable
and thanks to all 26 teams that made this happen. As a consequence of the A green closure, the Tuesday
v Thursday Challenge was not played in 2013-14.
