This creates the opportunity to specify fittings for the assembly which provide maximum protection and effective sealing of the lower glass edges. The provision of door rails allows the installation of extremely heavy-duty and wide doors. The design of the door and side panel rails ensures that – apart from in a very few exceptional circumstances – no glass preparation is necessary. The rails are available in heights of 100 and 76.5 mm, and in any length required. They are supplied as standard with gaskets for 10 mm glass, although gaskets for 8 mm or 12 mm glass can be supplied as optional extras for the door rails.
