There is no parts book that will identify the steering pump
on any given vehicle.

The part number however is stamped on some steering
pumps. This presentation will show you how to locate that
part number and help you identify the correct pump
without a part number

It is imperative that you use the correct pump because over
75% of the steering problem you encounter are caused by
not using the correct pump.

 The Saginaw Power Steering Pump comes in
three different part numbers.
 Each pump initially looks identical to the other
two.
 This presentation will help you identify and
distinguish the differences between these three
pumps.
