In 2017, the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine will publish the COKS Meeting abstracts. Publication of meeting abstracts
does not affect subsequent journal publication. ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) Guidelines & COPE
(Committee on Publication Ethics) Guidelines state that publication of an abstract does not qualify as prior publication
The abstracts may also be published on the Australian Knee Society website along with a non-alterable PDF version of the
presentations (member only access)
If you wish for your accepted abstract to be published the following must occur:
1.
The abstract template below needs to be completed. Maximum word count is 500. A structured abstract is preferred.
Abstracts that do not comply with the correct formatting will be returned for correction.
2.
You need to complete and sign the publishing agreement below.
Abstracts will only be considered for presentation by, members of each society, or invited guests of the society members.
After completing this form, please upload it to the Abstracts area of the conference website: http://kneesocietyasm.aoa.org.au
Paper or facsimile copies will not be accepted.
Abstract submissions must be received electronically by midnight (EST) on 31 May 2017.
Presentation Information
Projection type will be 16:9 Ratio and software options are PowerPoint for PC, Keynote & PowerPoint for Mac
Creation of PDFs of the presentation slides will occur on site by the AV coordinator. If some individual slides are not for online
publication, please create additional version of presentation without those slides.
If your submission is successful, you will be allotted a time for the presentation. Please take great care to speak within your
allotted time. The AV coordinator will shut down presentations that run over time to ensure the meeting runs on time.
All presentations require a disclosure slide after the title slide as follows:
