Contract expiry details
Ongoing contract which continues until you or we end it. The benefit period is 12 months. When the benefit
period ends we’ll still supply you with energy under our contract but you’ll no longer receive the benefit. You’ll
receive our standard retailer feed-in tariff available at the time your benefit period ends as published on our
website.

Key terminology
Daily supply charge
A charge that applies for supplying electricity to your premises for each day of the billing period, regardless of
how much electricity you use.
kWh
A 'kWh' stands for kilowatt hour and is the unit of measurement for your electricity usage charges.
Feed-in tariff
A feed-in tariff is a cents per kWh rate paid for electricity fed back into the electricity grid by a solar PV system.

Guaranteed Discount
Discounts apply to the GST exclusive usage charges only (off our published Origin Supply usage charges,
which can be found on our website), and are only available to customers signing up to this
offer from the above effective date.
A 10% discount on the GST exclusive usage charges listed above will apply for the benefit period.

Charges may vary
We may vary the Charges (including the amount, nature and structure of any of the charges) by notice to you
at any time. The notice could take the form of a message on your bill and will specify the effective date of the
variation.

Eligibility
The offer set out in this Energy Price Fact Sheet is only available to residential electricity customers who
consume less than 100 MWhs/annum of electricity in the relevant distributor area with the necessary metering
system/configuration. To be eligible for this offer your solar PV system must be net metered and must not be
larger than 10kW, and you must not be receiving a feed-in tariff under any Government scheme. If you
remove your solar PV system from the supply address during the benefit period the offer will continue but you
won’t receive the feed-in tariff.

Over the counter payment fee $2.00 (GST Incl) for over the counter payments at Australia Post.
Card payment fee
A 0.37% fee (GST Incl) may apply to payments made by VISA or MasterCard.
Late payment fee
A fee of $12.00 (GST exempt) may apply if your bill is not paid by the due date. A late payment fee may not
apply depending on your circumstances.
Disconnection fee
A $91.01 (GST Incl) fee may apply when your property is disconnected (including when you move). This fee
is passed through from your distributor and may vary. Please visit your distributor's website to find out the
current fee.

You must pay us any charges that your distributor imposes on us in relation to the services performed by your
distributor (or any other person) at your supply address.

Solar feed-in tariffs
Solar feed-in tariffs
For the 12 month benefit period you’ll receive a total feed-in tariff of 10 cents per kWh for every kWh of
electricity exported to the grid. When the benefit period ends you’ll receive our standard retailer feed-in tariff
available at the time your benefit period ends as published on our website. Origin currently offers a standard
retailer feed-in tariff of 6 cents per kWh exported which is subject to change at any time. All amounts are GSTinclusive (if any).
