INVITATION TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THE SALE OF USED SALT/SAND SPREADERS
Champaign Community Unit School District No. 4 is accepting sealed bids for the sale of Snow Ex Mini Pro
575 Salt/Sand Spreaders (five available), with wiring and owner’s manuals attached. Call either Tim Popovich
or Richard McQueen at (217) 351-3996 to set up an appointment to view the spreaders at the Service Center
located at 1400 Hagan Drive, Champaign, IL between 6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Sealed bids can be mailed or
delivered to Susan Kesler at E. H. Mellon Administrative Center, 703 South New Street, Champaign, IL.
Numbers are assigned to each salt/sand spreader; thus, on the sealed bid state which one(s) is/are being bid on.
Please mark envelope in lower left hand corner “Sealed Bid: Salt/Sand Spreaders.” All bids must be received no
later than FRIDAY, March 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m., at which time bids will be publicly opened. The Board of
Education reserves the right to waive all irregularities in the bidding, to reject any or all bids, and to accept bids
that are in the best interest of the School District.
