Volunteer Green Impact Project Assistants/Auditors

Volunteer Green Impact Project Assistants/Auditors
What is Green Impact?
UCLan FM Green Team together with UCLan SU Green Ladder are offering an opportunity
for students to gain skills in project management, communications and leadership by
supporting and motivating staff participating in Green Impact, an environmental awards
program run by the National Union of Students in more than 50 Universities and Colleges and
100 Students’ Unions across the UK.
Join staff and students in this vibrant scheme aimed at celebrating and recognizing
environmental achievements whilst also providing a framework to improve our environmental
performance.
Teams are given access to an online workbook with bronze, silver, gold and platinum criteria
to help them create a more sustainable workplace. Each criterion is simple, clear and easy to
implement. They will be supported with resources, examples of good practice from within the
University and from the other 54 universities and colleges taking part. All participating teams
will be awarded for their efforts and depending on their performance will achieve a bronze,
silver, gold or platinum standard at an Awards Ceremony in May 2015.
