YES- Luke should go - - he would be doing something right for the world he might die trying but that might start a rebellion Luke would be born a third child and die a hero (transform) So he knows that the rally would work (he’ll know if he’s free or not) He wants to prove that he’s more capable that his parents think If he doesn’t go he might regret it So he can prove that shadow children are important So that shadow children might get the chance to be educated Make third children free He can’t wait for things to happen for himhe has to do them himself So he can express his thoughts Change history Learn that he can’t wait for good things to happen to him- he has to make them happen To make a difference So he would be helping every shadow child So all shadow children will be able to leave normal lives free of prejudice and discrimination So people can see the kids that are illegal and that everyone is still surviving anyway so therefore the population law is not needed Be brave To sacrifice himself for the greater good NO- Luke should NOT go - - all the shadow children that get involve might die Luke’s afraid to get caught or get shot He would be putting his family in danger His parents might be sent to jail His parents will be very worried that he’s gone Parents will be disappointed His parents don’t want him to be seen He’s afraid that his family will have to pay a fine He isn’t brave enough (really scared to go) Luke could go to jail Dangerous! Especially for Luke because he’s a shadow child He would be disobeying his parents News might not report accurately on rally Government might force news to publish articles/ propaganda that makes the shadow children look even worse/ like criminals Luke doesn’t want to go because he doesn’t want to be part of a riot (if that’s what happens) Undercover government agent- are some of the third children online actually spies? Luke is thinking about more possible outcomes than JenLuke doesn’t want to be seen on the news by his parents
