Please, on behalf of the animals we care for, take a minute to read our message.
Thank you!
Spike, Cupcake, Emily, Nubby, Candy, Mali, Colby, Scarlet, Rosa, Annie, Trouble, Simon, Jeffrey, Elsa,
Mandy, Gussy, Pete, Zinnia, Sundas. What do these names have in common?
They are kittens; they are the lucky kittens who were brought into our care over the summer months.
Some were left at our door step in a toaster box; some were rescued and brought to us by caring
people. Some were healthy; some were not: the little ears of some were badly infested with mites; eyes
that had only just begun to see the world, were swollen shut by infection. All are healthy now; some
have even found their fur-ever homes.
But…how many do we never see? Unfortunately we were unable to help all kittens born in Chilliwack
this summer. For us at the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven, that is such stuff as our nightmares are made
on. Please help us by spaying and neutering your animals.
Our volunteers are passionate and tireless in their quest, working the year ‘round to create a world
where Safe Havens will not be needed. But we are a long way from achieving that world. And to
achieve it, we need your help…URGENTLY.
Please, find a small place in your heart for the small lives that we care for, by making a tax-deductible
donation – of any amount – to the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven. Yes, many organizations are
requesting your help; all are worthy of it. As you consider our request, please also consider this quote
from Dr. Albert Schweitzer: “Until we extend our circle of compassion to all living things, humanity will
not find peace.”
For all living things to live in warmth, safety and peace is our most fervent wish, not only at this time of
year, but also in all the days of the year.
Spike and his friends thank you and send you warm purrs and the
unconditional love that is only found in animals.
