Position
Description:
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Waterloo Region Board of Directors meet ten times
per year. Board responsibilities include: monitoring organizational
performance, determining policies and procedures, and strategy
determination. This is an excellent opportunity to display your leadership
skills and dedicate your time to an agency that assists children and youth in
your community.
Position
Requirements:
Expertise in Business, Social Services, Fund Development, Marketing, HR and
Community Building/Engagement preferred
Training Details: Agency orientation will be provided
Time
Commitment:
3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:30-7:00 pm
plus committee meetings as required
2 Year minimum term
Ideal for:
Community member who is 19+ with minimum 2 years corporate experience
Geographical
Area(s):
Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Wilmot, Wellesley, Woolwich, North
Dumfries – office is located in Kitchener downtown core and is on a bus route
